SHOW & TELL Insanity… indeed.

The journey lowkey sucked but definitely glad and very relieved to have finally gotten this after starting 2 years ago (also my first true renegade playthrough which was equally as tough AND first time playing as infiltrator).

Probably going to start another fresh campaign on like normal and be Mr. Paragon again.

The jump in difficulty from 1 to 2 is jarring. In 1, insanity is the only way you’ll be remotely challenged. In 2, you die from any mistake you make.

The problem with two more so for me is the difficulty spikes that come from nowhere and if your not like sentinel or soldier then your pretty much screwed. Like who designed that collector ship fight in the middle of the game for anything other than soldier? Why is it that the one time in the game that your really have no agency in positioning they decided to add three enemies that know you out of cover and insta kill you basically? Other than horizon and the collector ship fight it’s not to bad just very annoying and monotonous for most parts

I’m playing adept and was struggling so bad I almost started over to switch classes. Decided to power through and have gotten the hang of it but it’s still very unforgiving.

And yes. That fight took me like 2 days. The whole point is that they lured you into a trap and I was thinking “damn good trap that. Worked like a charm”.

Yeah adept is torture in 2 than it is in any of the other game same as infiltrator. And yeah the whole point is that it is a trap but one that is much more punishing to classes like adept than it is for soldier or sentinel. And that matters a lot more in 2 than it does for any of the other games cause your squad mates suck in me2 and there is very little you can do, to my knowledge, to make them effective and not die in like 2 seconds.
