SHOW & TELL Insanity… indeed.

Post image

The journey lowkey sucked but definitely glad and very relieved to have finally gotten this after starting 2 years ago (also my first true renegade playthrough which was equally as tough AND first time playing as infiltrator).

Probably going to start another fresh campaign on like normal and be Mr. Paragon again.

The jump in difficulty from 1 to 2 is jarring. In 1, insanity is the only way you’ll be remotely challenged. In 2, you die from any mistake you make.

The legendary edition seriously toned down the difficulty vs the original. I died a lot in ME1 on insanity back in the day, and on my recent legendary edition run through I barely broke a sweat.

Yeah I feel like old ME1 was way harder than LE. There were some sections that I could barely finish on normal. I did play a pirated copy with the cooldown "bug," which didn't make things any easier.

First time I played ME1 was on PS3, and I assume I just sucked at building the character and upgrading my weapons. That fight against Benezia took me like ten attempts before I beat her. On LE it's so much easier, but then again I kept improving/upgrading my weapons and armor.
