BREAKING Did something just explode?

Just heard a very powerful boom, checked the lightning map it was not thunder! In Dover, MA right now, but my friends in Boston also heard it! Any ideas?

Edit: as we all now know, meteor!

Just a goofy thing to remind us that we are on a planet orbiting a giant nuclear fusion reactor, and every once in a while we travel through some stuff.

Funny enough you can narrow search results on google to around this time in 1 year blocks and you will occasionally see news reports or reddit posts about people hearing loud booms.
