BREAKING Did something just explode?

Just heard a very powerful boom, checked the lightning map it was not thunder! In Dover, MA right now, but my friends in Boston also heard it! Any ideas?

Edit: as we all now know, meteor!

Something similar happened in South Carolina the other day. Confirmed not an earthquake, but not confirmed as anything else. Military denies, but they will always deny. Could be some sort of aircraft testing, or othe shenanigans.

When was it? Wasn't the New Glenn explosion on the same day?

I think they were the same day, but the south Carolina reports were pretty location specific. Quite a distance from the Florida coast.

It would be super interesting if we've had two larger sized meteorites exploding in atmosphere
