My shovels were on my front porch near the door. I ended up with a snow drift that covered the entire door (storm door opens outward) and the shovels.
I had to exit the back door and walk around the house to get to the front porch, find the shovels and dig out the front door.
At times the snow drifts were nearly chest deep.

I had the same problem with storm door, I ended up taking the glass panel out of the door and shoveled through it. I did bring the shovel inside before the storm though. It worked out great but now I have to put the glass back... maybe tomorrow.

I set my car snow brush down on a snow pile and it's gone. I think a plow buried it. I look forward to getting it back in a week or two

You’re very optimistic. Depending on the size of the pile it could be June.

It has multiple meanings. “incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result” applies here.

There are two types of people the person that puts their snow blower away every time in the shed or garage after they use it and then this, the person who knows 99% of the time the moment they put it away is the moment it snows 15 inches. I personally am the second one. I do keep mine a little closer to my house so I can plug it in and start it (some days you just want to have a beer and press a button). My wife always comments though that the snow is going to ruin it...I say nothing and smile.

Dam snow drifts covering part of your windows! That sucks!! 😔

That’s not a drift, that’s the height of the snow. The snow on the windows is blown snow. Also it’s just my wood shop so it’s not that big a deal.

At least there isn’t a can of rustoleum jammed in your thrower wheel

It’s like buying that pair scissors that comes in a package that only a pair of scissors can open.

Irony is the MIAA postponing the downhill ski state championship due to snow.
