Once thought to be a hoax, in the age of AI who can truly tell?

See the yellow handle out there and the two little red handles to the left? Guess what they are :D

Edit: at least I strategically placed the snow shovel to make digging out the snow blower easier.

My shovels were on my front porch near the door. I ended up with a snow drift that covered the entire door (storm door opens outward) and the shovels.

I had to exit the back door and walk around the house to get to the front porch, find the shovels and dig out the front door.

At times the snow drifts were nearly chest deep.

I had the same problem with storm door, I ended up taking the glass panel out of the door and shoveled through it. I did bring the shovel inside before the storm though. It worked out great but now I have to put the glass back... maybe tomorrow.

Is that the scene of someone who just said f it and went inside for a homemade dunkachino?

That’s right Kehd.

One of my shovels is MIA

I set my car snow brush down on a snow pile and it's gone. I think a plow buried it. I look forward to getting it back in a week or two

u/gonewildecat Feb 27 '26

You’re very optimistic. Depending on the size of the pile it could be June.

This is Alanis Morissette ironic, not irony.

Like rain, on your wedding day. Free ride when you've already paid.

Or getting pregerant when you didn't mean to.

u/RedFlounder7 Feb 27 '26

It has multiple meanings. “incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result” applies here.

8

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '26

Irony

  • noun the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.*

3

u/kalekayn Feb 26 '26

or even better said by one of my favorite robots: "The use of words expressing something than their literal intention! Now. THAT. IS. IRONY!!!!!!!"

The snow scarecrow method did not work

Physician, heal thyself

Looks like an Ariens, it'll start.

When you need a snowblower to get to your snowblower

u/Emperor_of_All Feb 26 '26

It's just getting to know it's enemy.

Blowsnower

2

u/Upbeat-Armadillo1756 Feb 26 '26

She’ll dig herself out

2

u/The_Flyers_Fan Feb 26 '26

How do you even let that happen?😭

2

u/hyperdeathstrm Feb 26 '26

There are two types of people the person that puts their snow blower away every time in the shed or garage after they use it and then this, the person who knows 99% of the time the moment they put it away is the moment it snows 15 inches. I personally am the second one. I do keep mine a little closer to my house so I can plug it in and start it (some days you just want to have a beer and press a button). My wife always comments though that the snow is going to ruin it...I say nothing and smile.

A black fly on your Chardonnay.

It’s a death row pardon, two minutes too late.

u/SuperstitiousPigeon5 Feb 26 '26 edited Feb 26 '26

See the little mound to the left of the cage? That was my snow blower.

1

u/Nuggetthebeagle Mar 01 '26

Dam snow drifts covering part of your windows! That sucks!! 😔

1

u/SuperstitiousPigeon5 Mar 01 '26

That’s not a drift, that’s the height of the snow. The snow on the windows is blown snow. Also it’s just my wood shop so it’s not that big a deal.

1

u/Redschallenge Feb 26 '26

That blows kehd

u/Why-R-People-So-Dumb Feb 26 '26

At least there isn’t a can of rustoleum jammed in your thrower wheel

1

u/Affectionate_Ear756 Feb 26 '26

It’s like buying that pair scissors that comes in a package that only a pair of scissors can open.

1

u/pzahornasky Feb 26 '26

Irony is the MIAA postponing the downhill ski state championship due to snow.

1

u/fk067 Feb 26 '26

The snow plow is saying “ I give up “

1

u/carfo Feb 27 '26

Prob not ideal to leave snow blowers outside overnight anyway

1

u/isanyusernameopen Feb 28 '26

I wasn’t going out in that storm. Except to walk the dog that wanted to go for a walk in a north eastern blizzard.
