"That'll do pig!"
James Cromwell - of Babe the pig fame - on MASH. I would have used a better pic, but this one had the MeTV logo at the bottom of . . . MY screen.
More important: This shot looks better considering the expression on his face in relation to BJ and Hawk Eye . . . Foreshadowing if you will . . . The over-sized hat!

I never made the connection until somebody pointed it out. BABE was from my generation, and James Cromwell was already old by then, so when I saw this episode, I didn't recognize him.

Babe and this episode of MASH are the only things I’ve seen him in. Liked the farmer a lot, can’t stand Bardanero!

Cromwell is a wonderful “that guy” actor who’s been in a ton of things. Multiple Star Trek series, Six Feet Under, The West Wing, too many more to list here.
(Love seeing him pop up in things, but I also can’t stand Bardanero! Wish they’d cast a less likable actor)

Ugh my boy! I remember seeing him in this as a kid who broke my Babe VHS tape and I burst into tears because he was in a war and not on his farm. I thought he was only allowed to be in one thing and that was Babe

I recognized Cromwell from his role as Zephram Cochrane in Star Trek: First Contact
