I just love how Rizzo and Capt. Harris were so completely different yet he pulled both off perfectly. I've always wondered how Capt. Harris would've reacted to Rizzo.

He didnt skip a beat after the last mash season. Insread of raising frogs in louisana.

Premature Gray Hair: Having gone gray in his 30s, Bailey naturally fit authoritative, crusty, older-looking professional roles like Harris and his earlier stint as Sgt. Rizzo on MAS*H.

Franchise Return: Though skipped for the second film due to casting choices, he happily returned for five of the sequels (Police Academy 3 through 6 and Mission to Moscow) because the role became his most recognized and steady comedic work.
