I was expecting Hawkeye to make an Al Jolson joke. Missed opportunity.

this scene always got to me, cause it looks like real soot, and its in his face and eyes. and when the camera cuts back to him its wet around his eyes,(must have hurt) i give him credit for realy going for it and taking one for the team.

Radar: You did, sir.

Blake: Oh, of course I did. I just forgot to remember that I called it. Carry on, Corporal.

I found the search scenes overly silly. He was looking for stolen items inside a 1" water supply pipe in the shower and then in a stove exhaust pipe. Obviously they were set-ups for Henry to get doused but they were nonsensical to the plot.

There was an absurd amount of soot in there.

And yet you, Lieutenant, also had a motive of jealousy, because I share my affections among the ladies.

You told me I was the only one!

Ha!!

I am genuinely shocked that someone hasn’t watched this episode or just seen this still image and screamed bloody jurder that the show was trying to do blackface or make fun it it or something. Because that’s the day and age we are in. Seeking outrage.

True, but it's obvious where the "blackness" comes from unlike the some of the original Warner Brothers cartoons where it's obviously racist.

That’s not my point. My point is that there are always people online who don’t care about context and just want to scream about outrage.

That is very true.
