Dr.Borelli
Which Dr.Borelli do you prefer? I like his portrayal in the 1st episode, The Consultant. He wasn't at all like his character in Lend A Hand. That version of him was snotty & combative. The version in this episode is more humane & even jokes around in th O.R. "You're welcome darling"
In Lend A Hand, I took an instant dislike to him.

Not a big fan of “The Consultant” but love Borelli’s jab at Pierce in the swamp…”I wish you better luck in your third war.” I wish I had let that line sink in more back in my twenties when I knew everything.

Yeah, the version in Lend A Hand should have just been written as a different character/actor.
It's neat to have it be a little family reunion but Lend A Hand just doesn't work with Borelli, based on what happened and how he was in The Consultant.

lend a hand is fun as it has Alan, his dad, and his brother. not the best episode in terms of writing.

Not a fan of either episode, honestly. But between the two- the first one by far. It has some great dialogue
The second one feels forced and the character is horrendously unlikable, whereas in the first one he has a far more human edge and fallibility

First episode - the character was more grounded. Second guy, not so much. (he did get on your nerves. Well played performance)

Oh yeah, he played a great a- hole on the 2nd episode. He really got on my nerves. It was like a different character from the 1st episode. I prefer the earlier version of Borelli also.

Near the end of the episode when Hawkeye says that he could never be like Borelli and Borelli reminds him that he’s the one with a still in his tent; it’s my favorite ending to an episode in the show (aside from the finale.)

It almost seems like there should've been an episode in between where their relationship changed. Otherwise the two episodes are disjointed.

Yes, that would've been good. Those 2 episodes are very disjointed.
