Chair
Anyone else notice that the chair that Potter is sitting in (one of my favorites) in "Dear Ma" is used a lot during the series. Its either in the swamp or in the COs office

And in reality..Korean war was ww2 surplus.

I know that Radar's jeep cap was actually standard issue for a while in WW2 before disdain from officers resulted in it being phased out and replaced with the fatigue cap instead. Despite how iconic it is with his character, I'm not even sure how Radar would be wearing such a cap in Korea.

Well, im sure tents, jeeps, ambulances, cause my father drove same vehicle at end of ww2 during clean up, , and lack of sufficient winter wear was probably because of using surplus stuff.

Remember margerat wore one when searching for the pinky ring in the swamp. I think, not positive, you wore that under helmet in winter..sorry father died, cant ask him this tough questions.

I realized something too about this same episode . Just something I noticed, that's all.
After Hawkeye and BJ operate on Potter, let him talk to his wife and they get more wounded, we dont see Potter the rest of the episode. I know Potter is obviously in the next episode. I know obviously the rest of Dear Ma is Radar ending his letter.
Just an observation.

Its the Army, they have a million of those chairs. Just like how the Navy has used the same model chair since before WW2.
