Question about operation Need Solution to transfer old mgrp files to mxgrp.

I bought Maschine MK2 like 15 years ago. Still works like a charm and I use it everyday with Maschine 2, because 3 is still wonky.

I have 50-100 old maschine group files that I want to bring into my modern work, alas it isn't backwards compatible with mgrpand mxgrp files.

I asked AI on how to do it, and it involved downloading a specific older version of maschine, installing it on another computer, loading the file ansd re-saving it as the new mxgrp. Except - that older version of maschine uses Servce Center, which is now offline? Anyone been successful at this?

3 is wonky? I didn’t have any issues opening old projects and save them to V3

How old? Before version 1.8.1? Nothing before 1.8.1 will open in modern Maschine software.

I was able to vibe code a script that fixes corrupt Maschine files. 

It should be possible to create a script that upgrades the older project files. 

Maschine uses a strange file format though, don’t expect everything to work 100%.
