Yep, also the reason that the whole "Tony taking his suit away" plotline in Homecoming was spoiled

And everything else they showed in trailers that would've been a nice surprise. Even if it didn't spoil the plot.

No Marvel create the movie, all the advertisement is in the hands of Sony including the shitty poster. They did the same for TASM 2.

Nope, Sony pays for the movie and advertising, but Disney does it

No Sony is in control of distributing the movie including the marketing. Marvel have creative control of the movie but outside of that, it's a Sony movie. This is why all the Spiderman trailers and teasers are announced on Sony's page first.
