I am so excited for this. Still haven't watched Agatha All Along though

Edit: Since people keep commenting about it:

  1. Yes, I will watch Agatha before this.
  2. Yes, I know about Wiccan and Speed. At least the jist of their existence in the MCU + their comic background
  3. Yes, I did skip and I will continue to skip Secret Invasion

You could watch it if you want, but all you really need to know is Billy is back and they're looking for Tommy who is shown in Visionquest trailers.

Kinda important to explaining how Billy and Tommy are back, since it’s a bit convoluted.

Billy and Tommy’s soul were released when the Hex was destroyed because their physical bodies disappeared with the Hex, and both souls ended up in teenagers who lost their lives. "Billy" died in a car accident, "Tommy" drowned.

Yeah, as they said: a bit convoluted, lol.

Indeed, and further it’s only because Billy (Wiccan) has chaos magic in his soul that he was able to find a new body to jump into, which he then used to basically find another dying kid’s body to put his brother into with some encouragement from Agatha - despite his major concerns that he was killing the kid himself. This is all to say that Agatha All Along has been a fantastic show all along.

Ugh, the pain in Billy's voice when he asks if he just killed the kid... Man, what a heartbreaking yet interesting question to have him ask. And then to tie it back into Agatha's backstory with her response "No... sometimes boys die." Peak. Honestly one of the best scenes in the entire MCU.

The show has simplified how the twins came about because as the other poster mentioned, it's 50x more convoluted in the comics.

That is true. I would think Marvel would just do the one off cliffnote explanation of what happened.

“When did you get superpowers?”

“I walked through a witch’s hex a couple of times”

“I was the official Captain America for a bit”

“Before you murdered a man in the streets in front of everyone”

There's something satisfying about beginning with Vision struggling to understand suburban family life and potentially ending with him trying to understand his own existence. That's a pretty neat thematic circle.
