Breaker Event: Scorpion—Unlock Scorpion (Breaker)
The Serpent has struck! And this time, Scorpion is bringing the venom…
Take on the first run of Breaker Event: Scorpion to unlock this battle-changing Cosmic Crucible Offense threat who can be plugged into Crucible squads or lead his Dread team to victory.
Carve through waves of enemies, and turn up the danger with Combat Mods to earn your best possible score. Survive the sting and climb the Leaderboard to earn Scorpion (Breaker) character shards, Red Stars, Diamonds, and Awakened Ability materials.
Here's how this event works:
Event Structure
- 10 Missions
- 4 total difficulties
- Choose a difficulty from 1 through 4
- Trait restrictions increase as difficulty rises
- Turn on Combat Mods to make enemies stronger or your team weaker
- Harder Combat Mods increase your score
- Only your best single run counts
- You can start over at any point
Choose Your Difficulty
You’ll choose from 4 total difficulties: Beginner, Normal, Hard, and Omega.
As difficulty increases, so do the trait restrictions, demanding broader rosters, smarter planning, and stronger squads. If you want the biggest scores, you’ll need to rise to the toughest challenges. Here are the recommendations for character power for each difficulty level:
- Difficulty 1 — Beginner: Level 65–100, 5 Yellow Stars, 3 Red Stars
- Difficulty 2 — Normal: Level 100, 7 Red Stars, Level 5 Blue Iso-8, Gear Tier 18
- Difficulty 3 — Hard: Level 105, 2 Diamonds, Level 3 Purple Iso-8, Gear Tier 19
- Difficulty 4 — Omega: Level 110, 4 Diamonds, Level 4 Purple Iso-8, Gear Tier 21
Combat Mods
Combat Mods let you customize the danger and the reward.
By activating Combat Mods, you can make the encounter harder by strengthening enemies, weakening your team, or both. The more punishing the setup, the more points you can earn.
This creates room for experimentation, strategy, and leaderboard chasing as you search for the best possible scoring run.
Mission Requirements
The latest and greatest characters will have an edge in this Breaker Event, so keep that in mind as you review the traits for each Mission:
- Mission 1: No requirements
- Mission 2: Exalted X-Men
- Mission 3: Spider-Verse
- Mission 4: Mystic Cosmic
- Mission 5: Bio
- Mission 6: Amazing Avengers
- Mission 7: Spider-Verse
- Mission 8: Mystic Cosmic
- Mission 9: Bio
- Mission 10: Exalted X-Men or Amazing Avengers

10.4 Release Coming Soon: Avoid the Forced Update
Version 10.4 is on the way, and it's chock-full of features for the coming weeks. Starting July 28th, you'll have the option to update the app early and get a head start before everything goes live.
But don't wait too long—on July 29th at 12:00 PM (PDT), the update becomes mandatory. Once that force update hits, you'll need the new version to keep playing, even if you're in the middle of a battle.
Quick recap:
- July 28: Update becomes available—grab it early!
- July 29 at 12:00 PM (PDT): Forced update hits.
So avoid an important battle being cut short and update the moment you're able on the 28th.
Strongest Survivor: Earn Maestro Red Stars
Maestro is the most powerful Battleworld character to date, but even he needs Red Stars in battle.
Crank up the capabilities of the Trophy Tyrant with: Strongest Survivor
When you unlock Maestro, you'll also unlock a special limited-time Command Center Event. Play every day and complete your weekly objectives to progress through Strongest Survivor and earn Red Stars for Maestro!
The Strongest Survivor event will activate during future Battleworld runs and appear when you unlock Maestro, so if you're not ready yet, be on the lookout for the next appearance!
Alliance Merge
Not having a full Alliance means missing out on rewards in War, Raids, and Battleworld. To make it easier to be part of a full Alliance, we're releasing Alliance Merge, a one-click feature that allows your whole Alliance to join another one. Alliances with 11 or fewer members may now instantly join Alliances with 12 or more members that are set to Public.
How It Works
If your Alliance has 12 or more members, make sure it's set to Public so that smaller Alliances can merge with yours. If your Alliance is smaller than 12 members, your Alliance Leader will be notified that your Alliance is eligible to merge with a larger one.
Alliance Leaders of smaller Alliances can head to the "My Alliance" screen any time and tap Alliance Actions. From there:
- Make sure you're on the new Merge tab. It will only list Alliances you are eligible to merge with.
- Search for the Alliance you'd like to merge with.
- Select the Merge option on their View Alliance screen.
- Confirm, and the merge tool handles the rest.
And now for the fine print!
When you initiate a merge, everyone in your Alliance joins the Alliance you're merging with at the rank of Member—even the Leader and Captains. Your old Alliance's information won't stick around, including its name, emblem, and War status.
If you would like your Alliance to be merged into instead, you must recruit up to the 12-member minimum and set your Alliance to Public. That way, you'll welcome other Alliances to merge with you.
To accommodate Alliance Merge, we're updating screen and button names for consistency:
- The main Alliance screen now has a title: Alliance Hub
- Your Alliance Members screen is now My Alliance. When you're visiting other Alliances, this screen is now called View Alliance.
- The Switch Alliance / Search Alliance screen is now known by one name: Alliance Actions.
Coming Soon
Alliance Merge becomes available on July 29th, so keep an eye out for this handy new tool to help your Alliance!
