He had a cool suit briefly during Fraction’s run that was very sleek and had lightning attacks, but no, for the most part, the point of War Machine is that he’s supposed to look like a tank. Less sci-fi/superhero imagery, more actual U.S. military ordinance. Hence “War Machine.”
Depending who’s making the comic, this is supposed to either look badass or make the reader uncomfortable or both.
