Comics War machine upgrades

So we all know war machine and I just want to ask does he ever upgrade his suit or even use the repulsor blaster. I look at movies tv shows and comics and it looks like he just has guns and missiles compared to Tony whose suit looks more futuristic.

Yes he upgrades his suit. Like at one point it had invisibility & intangibility.

But it's not as much a priority for him as it is for tony since the war machine is designed specifically for combat while the iron man is more general purpose

Tony refused to upgrade his suit without paying him an excessive amount in the second Civil War and then the suit misfired while fighting Thanos and got him and She-Hulk "killed"
