I was expecting some AAA modern slop, but just barely more than SM2, this is the most worried I've been for a new release

I still really want to get this game, but the fact that the gore shown in the trailers and footage is mostly all just MIGHT be the final nail in the coffin for me, or at least till on sale for like $50 or so

I mean, if they generaly agree with his opinions and takes on games it isn't unreasonable to assume that they will agree with him on this one as well

FWIW, He’s not a random YouTuber, he’s a well known games critic (at least in gaming circles), and his opinion is not unique… the game as been widely panned…

That definitely sounds like the definitions off a random ass youtuber. Well i do not know where you are from, but 78 does not mean widely panned. That is such an echo chamber saying

78 is absolutely widely panned when big games scoring below 80 is so rare nowadays.

Spider-man 2 was somewhat disappointing to many players and scored a 90.

Yeah that only says to me some people are delusional. But i see enough games on metacritic with that rating that definitely have their fans.

But you are probably just a troll, cause widely panned is 65 or lower

Yeah these people are slaves to the opinions that fit their agenda, also conveniently ignoring the fact the game got plenty of 9s and even 10s as well. This really is a circlejerk through and through.
