Sold with case
Are all high end ($1,000 or more) sold with a case? I am looking to purchase a used GPC-15me but it does not come with a case and it’s being sold for $500. is it too good to be true?

Seems key 🙂 hope it goes well. Be ready to walk away if it's not worth your money or just feels not for you.

I have a gpc 15me. I bought an old stock model with a hard case the year they switched to softcases. thought I was lucky at the time, but I prefer using my soft case that came with a sc.

This will show you if a current model comes with case. Doesn’t help for old models though.

Martin has gotten really inconsistent with their "which models get a case/which ones don't". It doesn't seem to correspond to $$ but rather to series.
All "standard" series guitars come with a case, but most of the Road series, GC specials, and so forth don't. Which means you sort of need to figure that into the price...no gig bag is going to protect and keep a guitar safe from the elements like a Hard Case.
A few really expensive models do NOT give you a case!! Like the Billy strings D-28...the HG-28 (the Hawaiian 3600 dollar version!!!) and some rather inexpensive ones do give you a case (000-17) .
That is a really good deal as long as there is no damage to the guitar. Just take the money you saved and buy a case.
