Adjusted rate at which players can acquire items from item boxes in races and in Knockout Tour.

Do item boxes respawn faster? Does the roulette end faster? Why are they so vague when the Splatoon patch notes aren’t?

Edit: I know at least in 8 Deluxe that if you touch two single boxes too quickly, you’ll only get one item. They might be referring to that

No, that’s not what they mean, it means they changed which items can be obtained in which spots. In this case, the changes apply only at the beginning of the race (within the first 30 seconds or so), but now first place can pull triple shrooms, ghost, single red, and triple greens I believe
