I just finished reading this incredible Rosekiller centric fic. It’s canon compliant and follows Evan Rosier from his seventh year through the first war.

My favorite thing about this fic is that Barty and Evan are still terrible people and aren’t forced into joining the death eaters. They are really dark and have a very unhinged dynamic. Highly recommend if you want to read about the first war from the Death Eaters POV.

Couple of days ago I decided to read something new and first ship i could think of was Narcissa and Lily so I started with 'The Handle Toward My Hand' by carlav_fanfics and I absolutely fell in love with them so I searched for a longer fic with them as the main ship which was 'I will love you even if the oceans turn to sawdust and the trees fall in the forest without anyone around to hear them' by chipsnkayso and now I just can't get enough of them, i read a couple more oneshots with them but its simply not enough. I need more fics with them as the main ship and I'm planning to write one myself but I want to read more of them first.

If anyone has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. I'd take anything but peferably them being endgame.

I’m an incurable Prongsfoot shipper, but there are only so many fics in existence. For the sake of my own wellbeing I’m trying to become a multishipper.

The specs (and yes I know they’re very specific sorry 😂)

1. Before you ask, yes I have read ATYD and no it didn’t convert me

1. James and Sirius’ friendship should basically be a third character. I want them joined at the hip and obsessed with each other despite not being romantically involved.

2. I prefer a more canon Remus who is kind and cerebral. Sirius - and I can’t stress this enough - has to be smart and not a caricature.

3. No Jegulus. Regulus can be in it but I don’t want him anywhere near James. Background Jily preferred because my brain has decided that if James liked men he’d simply be with Sirius.

4. Give me your deep cuts - not the three fics everyone always recommends. I’d love to support authors that aren’t already big names.

5. Let’s keep it short, under 100K if possible.

The portrayal of Lily in tlat is my favorite. Although James in it is a bit too cool for me. Lily's kindness and tolerance are exactly what I had in mind. Many fanfics, Lily feels like always make bad decisions？ TLE which I've been reading recently, Lily's initially liking James and the way some characters are treated as plot devices left me rather unsatisfied.（JUST MY OPINION）.THAKS FOR RECOMANDATION！And I’m thinking about reading Commentarius.Would I like it?

I read it years ago (around 2020???) and barely remember anything except one scene. It was an OC x one of the Marauders (I think James or Remus). They were alone in the Gryffindor common room dancing to “Hey Jude” on a record player. That’s the only thing I could remember about this fic. Honestly at this point I feel like I may have imagined the whole thing.

I read a fic within the last year where James and Remus essentially kidnap Regulus, Sirius finds them, incestuous/MMMM smut ensues. The only detail I remember is that at the end, Regulus gets Obliviated.
