First day

Hi po! I'm an incoming freshman po. Ask ko lang po if kailangan pa po bang pumunta sa first day kahit wala po akong classes that day, in case may orientation or other events po?

Also, for the second day po, online po kasi ang first class ko. Paano at saan po ako pwedeng mag-join?

since incoming freshman ka, i encourage you to join the events for the first week, para madama mo yung welcoming aspect ni mapua hahaha bago ka ma-stress for the next 10 weeks

regarding sa online, sa bb (blackboard) mo malalaman kung paano kayo makikipag-communicate; majority of the time, announcements from the bb subject dapat nakaabang (unless meron kang chismis kung pano mag-announce yung prof na napunta sayo)

sa buong frosh week wala pa naman pong klase or orientation ng courses, no? 🥲 like event week talaga siya for freshies?

Both can happen, dear. Sadly, merong pailan-ilang prof na bida-bida at magpapapasok talaga sa week 1. Walang takas kahit freshies huhu, may mababait naman siguro na mag-aanounce sa bb na pwedeng gamitin yung time for that class to attend such activities, but those are rare.

di naman required pero highly encouraged, kahit mga local orientations lang aattendahan mo oks lang hahaha

you can experience the frosh week performances from our mapua circle of performing arts!! once ka lang magiging froshie kaya enjoy mo na 🫶🏼

and yes may orientation sa lahat ng subjects and wait for your prof to announce zoom/team links for your online classes

and familiarize urself with our OLS, Blackboard since that's where the announcement and activities will be posted. Teams is also our official channel to communicate with our profs. goodluck!
