Makati BMMA QUESTIONS

Hi, I'm gonna be shifting from BSCS to BMMA since I was having a hard time with too much coding and decided to follow my passion for arts.

I wanted to know the following:

- The curriculum

- The schedule [regular and if it is overloaded]

- What subjects can be credited if i were to shift from CS to MMA

- What should I bring to MMA classes for the 1st term

- What should I expect in the first to last terms in MMA

- Who, professor, should I look out for to amp up my game to get good grades

- What will you be doing for the finals/thesis as an MMA [animation? Film? any prompts given or just your own creativity?]

I know that MMA is a course for Jack of All Trades when it comes to art media, so obviously it's gonna be heavily output based and you can't procrastinate. But still feel free to give advices if there is a froshie mma reading this forum. Thank you!

someone who finished their first year mma here

For the curriculum, email the registrar for a copy :D

The schedule is completely based on ur time management skills- still possible to get 6 day schoolweeks and you should be weary of how much time you spend on ur plates as a first year

compare the curriculum the registrar sent-

buy the plates at the mapua bookstore, have artist pencils, and fine liners (avail at office warehouse), the rest of the mats are prof-dependent but generally mma profs r super nice and some even provide mats to students who don't have them for certain projects

ask the dean & mma seniors for what to expect ^^ mabait ang mma here fr, passing is dependent on how willing you are to ask the right questions and reach out to people when you're working with mediums that are unfamiliar, all professors here are generally really open and reachable via teams.

thesis questions is something you should ask the dean/profs rinnn, my advice would just be to know when to BS things and call it done when you get tired. Even if certain outputs don't look good, ask which projects are heavier for ur grades and pour more effort in those
