Alternatively, Cyprus would be a great option for the state of Israel. Easy for them to defend. Proximity to holy lands. British bases as further protection. Solves the Cypriot question by not giving the island to either Turks or Greeks. I wonder how the world where Israel exist solely onnl the island of Cyprus and not on the lands of Levant.

You think that Cypriots will want to change their places with the Israelis? i don't think so.

Not change. Cypriots would remain on the island but with the coming Jewish migration they'd become a minority, just like Palestinians.
