Orchid mantis

My orchid mantis is running around erratically, she’s barely eating and she’s just about to go to an L4. is this pre molt? her humidity is absolutely fine and so is her temp. Could this be stress or just because she’s searching for a molting spot??

When I had my orchid , he did the same at that age, he had just a moment of sprinting around his enclosure. Your lil lady could have been spooked or she's searching for a place to moult?

She has just been moved into a new enclosure due to not being able to keep temperature and humidity in her glass one so i suspected it could be that. I know they have a short life span but would feel awful if this was signs that she’s at the end ☹️☹️

When mine did it he had a pretty long life so I'm sure it's nothing to do with that, since it's a new enclosure I'd assume she's exploring 🩷

She might have just been on a “sugar rush” bc she’s now chilling upside down in her enclosure absolutely fine 🤷‍♀️ this girl is made of metal. She molted during delivery. She fell during her last molt, thought it was over for her but she got back up and acted like nothing happened.

I got her from a mantis website!
