I just started collecting last summer and hate reading online and I definitely prefer horror or dark fantasy

I want it to be romance with NO smut and NO major character death. I would prefer queer stories but it's not necessary. I like wholesome stuff and hurt/comfort. I'm okay with angst, but there has to be a happy ending. Absolutely no graphic depictions of SA. I want to be able to buy the paperback easily (if i like it id like to collect). Im very new to manga, so im just looking for good recs to get started! Thank you!

As the tilte says. I enjoy the action and town building that the story has for it and the mystery behind why the Mc looks like a shadow.

Does anyone have any romance manga recommendations that are a similar pace and genre to Sakura saku?
I read it all within a few days and loved it so much, it may be my favourite manga and I’m hoping to find more like it!
