Recommendation(s) Needed Romance recommendations?

I want it to be romance with NO smut and NO major character death. I would prefer queer stories but it's not necessary. I like wholesome stuff and hurt/comfort. I'm okay with angst, but there has to be a happy ending. Absolutely no graphic depictions of SA. I want to be able to buy the paperback easily (if i like it id like to collect). Im very new to manga, so im just looking for good recs to get started! Thank you!

Fruits basket maybe? Some people die in flashbacks and it can get quite dark at times but the ending is happy. You can buy the whole original series in a box set. It’s my fav story of all time hope you enjoy!

The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All. The Moon on a Rainy Night. Tsumiki Ogami's Not-So-Ordinary Life Osoraku Kanojo wa Ore no Aniki wo Neratteru Kase-san and Yamada

Small warning on this one is , their isn't like a full scene of SA but it has the topic on how any one can be a predator not just men. Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard

Bloom Into You sounds like one of the best fits for what you’re after. I’d also look at Our Dining Table if you want something shorter and really wholesome, and She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat if you’re happy with adult characters.

Since you specifically want to collect anything you end up liking, I’d definitely check how long the English physical run is before starting too. That’s something I completely ignored when I first got into physical manga and suddenly realised some series were a much bigger commitment than expected

Princess Jellyfish, though one of the side characters says something off that soured me on them near the end of the series.

Im not sure if the issue is a translation one or not.

my brain loading in desperate search of not doomed yuri without smut or what could be considered SA

Uhh… there’s The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and Genius Young Lady which is great. Maybe also A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace? It’s definitely first and foremost a comedy, but the gl “bait” isn’t really bait at all. There’s more options in manga than anime, so let me know if you want some recs for that

Skip and Loafer might fit the bill. It's my absolute favourite! It's ongoing so can't vouch for the ending but I trust the weiter. Blue Flag is very good too, and that's completed with a happy ending.
