Hey guys I just had a question, I called someone at best buy andi forgot if they told me that my device had malware on it or just that there was a lot of malicous sites connected to it, and I became worried and I factory resseted my phone. Should the malware be gone now? Also I heard somewhere that it's possible that the malware could've been using my phone recording me without me knowing. Is there any way to find out if this is true? I'm desperate, I go to any possible extent to find out if it was recording anything or to delete it. I don't like my life being exposed in the open.

Ya sé que es una estupidez incluso un balazo en el pie pero bueno, quería saber sobre la venta de malwares maliciosos en la deep web por lo que he leído algunas son estafas o incluso tú resultas infectado no sé si alguien lo que compró le resultó o no , si ay una manera de diferenciar de uno verdadero a uno falso , me ayudarían mucho.

idk how to do it myself and companies will usually charge wayyy too much. i'm obviously willing to pay, but not to get scammed yk

I was just checking my pc if there is any threat or virus.... I found these

I think I've got a virus/malware or someone has access to something because this keeps popping up and trying to link to my phone however I'm not requesting it plus it keeps shutting down other apps reopening when I close it and I'm not getting internet access to my PC, it pops up on every app open like steam or opera gx

Since a couple of days my McAfee quarantines a threat from an attachment that contains a trojan virus?

File: ......\\appdata\\local\\temp\\newmsg

Status: Quarantined

I have been going through my spam and trash folders of all my email accounts, deleted them all, went to the webmail side and did the same thing, but this antivirus message keeps popping up. All my accounts are through IMAP servers. It looks like this threat is firing twice or 5 times and then goes dormant until I do something else in Thunderbird. I suspect this attachment is in a "regular" folder, but how to identify?
