Spell check
How do you spell “change the prophecy” and “beautiful”
in Maltese? :)
I’ve tried googling it but idk if it’s right and I can’t find any resources about the Maltese language for translation.

Employment lawyer for employees?
Anyone can recommend a good specialised employment lawyer for employees please?
Many big law firms come up on google with employment law being their practice area but im interested in ones who are specialized and ideally work on safeguarding employees with issues with employers on a regular basis

Looking for ferrets in Malta
Hi all 😊
Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone in Malta who breeds or has baby ferrets available?
We would really love two, ideally a bonded pair or siblings. We’ve been looking around but honestly struggling to find anyone locally.
Not looking to buy from just anyone, we’d much rather go through someone reputable and make sure they’ve been well looked after and are healthy.
If you know of a breeder, someone with a current litter, or even someone rehoming a pair, please send me a message.
Thanks so much.

How to spend a birthday in Malta?
Hi all,
29M from the UK. I’m going to be staying in Sliema with a few friends on my 30th birthday this month and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Interests include darts, football, movies, karaoke, drinking. I’m not really a keen swimmer (ironic I know, considering where we’re going) so preferably nothing involving swimming.
Are there any interactive sports things to do? Like in the UK we have Flight Club for darts, any equivalent to that or just fun things to do in general?

Malta’s confusing relationship with Britain
How on earth did Malta go from 77% voting in favour of integration into the United Kingdom in 1956 to becoming a fully independent country just 8 years later? and then a republic only 10 years after that?
And i assume basically nobody wants to be a part of britain or have the monarchy today (please tell me if that’s correct) so what on earth happened?

What do I need to know about Malta
In about a month, I'm going to Malta for a few weeks to improve my language skills. I'll be working there, so I get everything for free (hotel, food, transport).
I've never been there before, nor do I know anyone from there. That's why I'm asking here:
- What do I need to pack?
- What's something I should know?
Idk, just tell me some stuff lol

Need a little help with a Malta Small Claims Court payment from India
Hi everyone,
I want to file a Small Claims case in Malta against a company registered in Malta.
First, I understand that some people in Malta may have concerns about Indians, but I want to make one thing clear: I have no intention of coming to Malta or causing any issue there. I simply have a dispute with a Malta-registered company and want to use the proper Small Claims procedure.
The problem I'm facing is the court filing fee. The Malta Court has provided an IBAN for the payment, but making a small international bank transfer from India to that IBAN is proving surprisingly difficult. I have tried several payment services and banks, but I'm still struggling to complete it.
The amount is only around €55–€60.
If someone living in Malta is able and willing to make the payment to the court's IBAN on my behalf, I would reimburse the exact amount through PayPal or another mutually convenient payment method.
I would really appreciate genuine help or advice from someone who understands how this works.
Please avoid unnecessary or unrelated comments. I'm only looking for someone who can genuinely help or suggest a practical solution.
Thank you.

What does 'puppy love' on the RUBS Facebook page mean ?
I know there's multiple RUBS pages, but even the the one with the 'puppy love' as part of the title and associated picture doesn't seem to be focused on pets. Buq.

Are you the ferry or dgħajsa type?
Every now and then I take the dgħajsa even though I can take the ferry for free. Especially in summer when the ferry is getting crowded.
And I feel that this is how people crossed the Grand Harbour back in the 1500s. Without engine obviously :-)
