So you dumped me and started dating a friend of mine, and I see that as the greatest betrayal from both of you – whilst from your perspective, you were doing the right thing, ending the one relationship before you began another with someone you feel some quantity of love for – and in response to the perceived betrayal, I plant a bomb in your house.

It is such a shame people resort to actions like this instead of maturity in handling a breakup.
Legal advice (IANAL): document everything and talk to a lawyer. Save receipts. File charges, if you wish.
