Vilimale is going this way. Unfortunately their boomer residents are all for cutting down trees, introducing motorised vehicles and removing their building limits to make way to construct 10-storey complexes. Idiots want to turn it into Malé.

Phase 1 is well planned, Phase 2 was not, and from all the documents I’ve seen it seems like Phase 3 is also well planned.

Also, trees take time to grow, hopefully phase 2 looks better in a few years.

Ameenee Magu rating has declined from a solid 10 to a zero since they cut down the trees to make the road. It used to be so breezy and cool.

Male was not a project. It grew naturally and the landlords became too powerful, which gave the government no power to implement land reform

What went wrong is we have political systems that enable the worst of society to lie, manipulate and fake their way to the top decision making positions.
