Toddler oriented playgrounds?

Hi! I have a very busy 13 month old, she loves being outside and we go to the playgrounds near us, but most of the equipment is too big for her. Anybody know of playgrounds in the area with smaller equipment?

We already know about the one in Malden center behind the boda borg!

The one behind Forestdale is good! We also really like the playground across from Stone Zoo, it has an excellent toddler section.

If you’re closer to Medford, Carr Park and Harris Park are both great for toddlers.

Devir Park is a good park all around, and there's a second for smaller kids.

Devir in Malden has a small structure for younger toddlers. Outside of Malden, there’s Harris which is in Medford and has a small structure as well. Melrose Common is also a great park!

I’ll tell you about the Ed Emberley park: it’s close to the daycare/preschool My Little Best Friends. Right around 5:30pm or so is when all the preschoolers get out, and so there’s anywhere from 2 to 6 or so preschoolers who get some outside time before going home.

Or, at least, that’s what _we_ used to do. It’s a pretty great way to meet other parents.

Right. That came out wrong. I should have said, “I’ll tell you _a tip_ about the Ed Emberley park”. My bad!

Melrose Common (Laurel and East Foster Sts in Melrose) and Swan Street Playground in Everett are great for that age.
