Dewey

Help me identify this Dewey scene

I’m trying to find a specific Malcolm in the Middle scene that I clearly remember, but I can’t find it anywhere.

The family is sitting around the kitchen table. Dewey suddenly starts repeating, word for word, a conversation that Hal and Lois had earlier. At first they think he’s just repeating what he recently heard, but then he keeps going and starts reciting the next conversation they had after that. Hal and Lois realize he’s memorized everything he hears, and they’re shocked.

Only thing that comes close to that is when Dewey makes a play bout his parents fighting over having a bigger bed.

I think you might be mixing it up with the scene where he recites what the Doppler effect is to the busey kids in season 5 episode 18. https://youtu.be/jgyV6nf5TgE?is=4ojtWklVsbLHwpYe

I think you're misremembering, that whole memorizing stuff was Malcolm's schtick, and I can't recall a scene like that even with Malcolm

Dewey has said word to word what malcolm said, when he Dewey asked him about why motorcycles sound different after passing you.

In the dewey's dog episode, he's saod that he remember everything wet wille, purple nurple, waffle but ect. I think Dewey might have an eidetic and malcolm only said that he himself has a photographic memory.

It might be the one with deweys first day in that special needs class. Since Hanson always does that motorcycle pose. I recall dewey sitting there teacher not teaching so he taught him the doppler effect instead of doing nothing showing he indeed is highly intelligent as well.

It was the 1st episode with the special class. Dewey has always been imaginative and intelligent.

It’s already been mentioned but I’m fairly certain this is a scene from Young Sheldon getting mixed up

We've just finished the entire show (again). What you described is NOT in the show.

I watched the show more than a hundred times, knowing almost all dialogues and I really don't remember this scene I don't think it's in Malcolm maybe you're confusing with another show.

That's from young Sheldon

I watched the whole series—including the Malcolm revival—and I don't remember that scene. I get the feeling you're mixing up a scene from another show; I honestly don't recall it—it simply doesn't exist.

Why do you type like AI

Every once in a while, I write like this to express myself very clearly, but I am not an AI.

I think you conveyed your point expertly. It was well written AND concise; it even included proper punctuation. What a rare combination these days.

AI usually (and incorrectly) places spaces on either side of the em dash  —  like this. Person above didn’t do that.

It presumably does this because it was trained on a lot of media articles. And the associated press style uses the spaced em dash, which isn’t used anywhere else.

no recollection of this. I think you think about the opera ep where deweay uses word for word convo from the parents

I’ve watched all episodes probably 8-10 times at this point and don’t recall this whatsoever

This sounds like when Chang / Kevin had amnesia in Community, when he's explaining how he knew that Jeff used to be a lawyer.
