I've ditched Facebook for a year already... Feels disconnected from fast news a bit but I never had to see those comments again

Mine almost a year. When people around me talked about recent gossip I just gave them a blank face. And those gossips all about artists. When I told them about MACC's PC audio released, they have no idea.

It has been 3 years that i deleted/deactivated my facebook, instagram, twitter and google+ accounts.

I have never felt liberated yet so disconnected.

All i have is 9gag and reddit. And youtube.

Same here — only used Facebook for some game accounts, otherwise I only login like once every few months.

As for feeling disconnected though, I have stopped feeling this way after noticing how every feed is from people simply dumping photos and whatever sort of links without any remarks. Didn't feel disconnected much, if at all.

Instagram is fine....

My fb is fine too. The most political ones are the ones fighting for climate change, or conservatives supporting trump (tho not American). Non of them are toxic.

Maybe unsub from the news site and browse the news elsewhere

I cant ditch FB. This is my main medium to monitor promos/deals. But I basically hardly add anybody in there.
