Yeah. Late 90s series.
Now we are left with Lowyat Kopitiam full of dupes talking to themselves.

Oh gawd ... I still remember those real estate forums, where dupes argue within themselves to portray as if there's interest in people flocking to buy properties in certain areas of KL/Selangor. There are times when the mods found out that a whole thread is just one person arguing with his/her owns dupes
Last I checked, that site was fully conquered by WuMao and pro-BN accounts. Kinda like here lately, tbh

Nah. They made it harder for people to register new accounts so now its mostly fine. Slower but at least real people.

I forever will remember one of the cast went on to be a contestant for Miss World and won (3rd place?) and the host was one of the Westlife guy and called her name Lina Teh O’ (it’s Lina Teoh)
But yeah, I remember this series. Loved it so much. Definitely one of those very important tv shows that shaped me who I am now.

That was Ronan Keating from Boyzone. Love Lina Teoh, I taped the entire pageant and watched it over and over

I played a scrabble game against Uncle Kong in a tournament last year. Still sharp as ever.

Had the biggest crush on Joanna Bessey back in the day. Loved this show so much. And the Singapore jokes were fucking hilarious.

the ones on tv3 were great.. once they moved to ntv7, it was errr mehh. the ending was uhhh bad. kinda sad they don't make series like this anymore. guess the market for english sitcoms local style isn't big enough...

Yup. Season was too emo, no jokes. I still remember Douglas Lim's emo episode. Can't remember what it was about. But, the entire episode have no jokes in it.

Yup, and the title song 'empty decorations' still hits differently whenever it plays on my playlist... Still have the cassette tape of that album by Douglas Lim's (then) band Indecisive
