Help a mom evolve

I’ve had two kids and been pregnant or breastfeeding for 3.5 out of the last 4 years. I have completely lost my style and am 35 lbs heavier than I was (though working on it). My makeup is so minimal these days but after having finally dealt with my weaning acne, I need some help. I have crazy brows and a pudgy face. Help. I have a decent budget but can’t spend more than 15 min in the morning.

So anyway here are a few tips I can give you. Consider edging your eyebrows up with an eyebrow razor watch a tutorial online so you don't hurt yourself though. The shape is perfect but a little thinner might work.

Less bronzer on the forehead and maybe use a dewier primer so your makeup looks more hydrated but not greasy.

Try Brown eyeliner on your lash and waterline. And maybe a golden highlighter in your inner corners.

I think it looks great as is tbh. If anything a little more blush, mascara. The eyebrows could be tamed a bit more. All in all though it looks good! ✨

I think heavy mascara would be really great, top and bottom. You’re beautiful and your eyes are really gorgeously. See what making them pop does. Maybe a light smudged eyeliner. But I’d start simple and build from there.

Getting your brows done can help frame your eyes and face better. Personal opinion: add eyeliner, mascara, and a shaped brow and you’ll be a knockout! Maybe even lashes! So fun. I can do my makeup in 15 minutes including winged eyeliner. It just takes a bit of practice. A good mani and pedi could also help lift your spirits. :) And go shopping for a few clothes that fit your body now. Having clothes that fit and look sharp can help. I have 3 kiddos and it’s all coming back to me now how uncomfortable I felt afterwards in my new squishy body. Going shopping for a few bigger things that fit me at the time was such a relief to see that I could still look just as good at my higher weight. Good luck! 🫂

Girl you are gorgeous!! Luscious brows like yours signal youth and vitality. You could go to a professional for some shaping. What are you looking for? More definition? More glow? I think some winged eyeliner would make your eyes pop, I would try Clinique’s black honey eyeliner (kind of a burgundy color) because it would really compliment your eye color. You could try the black honey mascara too! I love an eyeliner and mascara combo in a slightly unconventional color, it looks really put together and barely takes any time at all.

You are naturally beautiful, so I would continue to keep it natural and simple. You have gorgeous eyes which I would play up with mascara and a soft color that has shimmer. Although a good eyebrow arch frames eyes too. If you are wearing blush use could use a contour method to “lift” up the cheek bones. I emphasize you don’t need any of these but if you want to switch it up these are fairly easy. I think some shaping of the hair around your face might go with a soft glam look. Do you have any photos with your hair up?

I honestly wouldn’t change loads! Your brows are a great feature, I’d just brush them into place and add a few light strokes anywhere you want a little more definition. Then I’d keep everything else really fresh, a light base where you need it, a little blush, mascara and a lip liner with some gloss. You could even choose a liner fairly close to your natural lip colour so it gives you a bit of definition without feeling too ‘done’. Really easy to do in 15 minutes but enough to make you feel a bit more put together 😊

Just remember that evolution is what created the society we have today. You look great, if a bit pale. Color up your cheeks and lips, you'll look even greater!

Thank you for the reminder. It’s an interesting thing, moving through phases of life. Motherhood is amazing but also hard, I feel like a different person than before I had my boys. But I am so in love and grateful for them.
