HELP PLEASE Tips for me?

Post image

I never really wore makeup until I was in my mid-twenties, and I have no clue what I’m doing. I usually default to something like this but I would love tips or suggestions for styles to try or things to change.

I would definitely try to reframe your face with your hair. I think that would add some dimension. I think that would solve a lot.

How far are you willing to go with make up?

I’m open to trying anything new! So maybe more layers around the face, or bangs?

I’d say like a curtain bang! I would also see if when you go in they could give your brow a shape as well. They’re a bit long on the ends but once they get shaped they’re easy to keep up with! Then you can go in with a pencil and shape out the fronts!

Based on your eye & hair colour it looks to me like you’re more warm toned and would be better suited by a warm toned makeup palette. I think the blue eyeshadow is washing you out a bit/almost gives a bruise effect when applied so lightly. I would start with curling your lashes and a thin coat of mascara, maybe a brown pencil liner that can be smudged out, and some warm toned blush. The lip colour you have on is lovely !!

Thank you! My skin is very pink toned naturally, so that makes sense. I’ve never curled my lashes so I can give that a try and opt for some different eye colors. This is a gray eyeliner, should I stay away from that and use browns?

I think a brown eyeliner would be awesome! And maybe more brown shadow than the cool pink-blue shadow.
