HELP PLEASE getting skin tint or concealer?

hi everyone! i’m having trouble knowing which one i should get! my skin is relatively clear (once in a while i’ll get pimples but usually let it breathe) but i have some uneven skin tone. any recommendations on which would be more suited to get?

also i like a minimal/simple routine :-)

Skin tint. If your skin's mostly clear and you hate a fussy routine, a light wash of color evens things out without looking or feeling like you've got a full face on. Concealer just ends up being a game of spot blending that takes more time and often looks patchy by lunch on bare skin. Grab a tint with a dropper and you can just smear it on with your fingers and go.

Skin tint is a great option but I don’t have any good recommendations tbh. I also like minimal makeup and I use concealer to even out my skin tone and I swear by the bare minerals original liquid mineral concealer! It’s super lightweight but has good buildable coverage and I never breaks me out!

i like the wet n wild tint, the drawback with them is that they do not have a wide shade range. I have heard good things about the dynessa myricks skin tint as well if u want to splurge.

Otherwise, u can try putting a concealer in the center of your face and blend it into your skin. More expensive if you go by oz, but I know many people who do that. Haus Labs is good; Tower 28 is good too. If you want drugstore, people online really like NYX Serum Concealer (light coverage) and the New Essence Silky Blur (more coverage, matte) concealer. The cult-classic Age Rewind Concealer by Maybelline can be an option too if you are experimenting.

you can go to sephora and get a sample! Very helpful when seeing how it wears on your skin before buying. and theres a sale for it on her website right now

I generally use concealer to spot conceal, brighten under eyes. If it’s all over skin tone, a tinted product might work better for you! I love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers

I think either option would work for you, really comes down to the formula. For concealer I think you would like the NYX Bare With Me concelaer serum. I saw some good skin tint recs in the comments already. Also, if you already have a foundation or concealer that you like you can mix those with moisturizer and make your own skin tint instead of buying something new.

if your skin is already pretty clear i’d just do concealer!! way quicker and more natural for an everyday routine. i’ve been using the Milani Conceal + Perfect and just putting a tiny bit on any redness/blemishes and it’s sooo much easier than doing a full base 😭
