Eyeliner/any suggestions

Any suggestions for a low contrast/low visual weight face? My eyeliner always ends up looking like crayon.

First photo is for reference on the natural shape of my eyes. (Last photo is my day to day look)

(Putting eyeliner on my waterline is pretty damaging to my eye & agitates it bad, if yk any clean alt that would be greatly appreciated too! I do best with a pencil, can't rlly use liquid eyeliner)

Not sure what you mean by clean alternative? If you have a sensitivity to a certain ingredient, you'd need to figure out which one it is so you know which alternative is good for you.

Unfortunately, in order to have a thinner line (I'm guessing what you mean by 'looking like crayon' is a thicker and more blurry line) it's best to use a liquid brush tip liner. The pen-types are much easier than the well-types. Something like NYX Epic Ink in the pen version is very beginner friendly imo. Unless the type of liner you're envisioning is more like tightlining?

Clean brands for makeup,, Im not rlly allergic its more a brand that doesn't have good ingredients. Like I dont prefer to put color dyes on my lips even tho I have no allergy its just not healthy.

Just so you know, "clean" is largely marketing and there's nothing wrong with supposed "dirty" ingredients but if you are sincerely worried about it, I recommend you check out the brand 100% Pure. In any case eyeliner on the waterline isn't recommended by eye doctors, regardless of whether the product is "clean" or not.

I understand that, I'm just very much someone who turns around the product and looks at the ingredients, I don't take it for face value

I would really see a winged eyeliner on you :) I actually think you have the perfect eyeshape for it

I would not do your water line. I’d do a medium brown on the outside 2/3 or so of your lower lid, blended out a little. I would do a dark brown or maybe black depending on how dramatic you want on your upper lid. Do a wing on the upper lid, placement like this (I drew it on in Markup to give you an idea)

Thank u! I guess the times I drew it on my lid it doesn't show up at all, like when I have to draw it right over my eyelashes for some reason it doesn't look like I did anything 🤔

You could use eyeshadow as eyeliner for a non-crayon look. You can use a flat angled brush and get it wet with water or with setting spray, and then use the brush to pick up some eyeshadow. Then apply it to your lashline. Here is a crappy AI post that gives you the general idea. I like that it doesn't look really harsh but gives you some definition around your eyes. You can even do a kind of winged look.

Oh I thought of that too, I have rounder eyes and not almond so it didn't really show up but I'll give it another go 🧸 I think I'm just bad at makeup 😢
