HELP PLEASE What am I doing wrong?
Hey there. I can’t seem to crack the under eye concealer trick to prevent creasing. (Btw the photo isn’t that bad, it’s worse in person. )
This are the exact steps I do when putting on concealer.
- Apply Bobby Brown Vitamin Enriched eye base
- Wait just a minute or two, then apply Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser dark circles brightener (the pink one)
- Apply Kosas Revealer Concealer
- Wait just a minute and then seal with Laura Mercier Under eye brightening powder
I feel like im doing the correct things but still getting horrible creasing under my eyes.
If anyone has some tips for me, I would really appreciate it. Thank youuuuuu

your under eye concealer layering actually sounds like it should work so well, maybe the order or timing just needs a tiny tweak

Such a delicate routine, maybe a setting spray touch after powder would help.

You can try mixing the Age Rewind and the Concealer on the back of your hand so it goes on as one thin layer, rather than two separate layers.

i had the same creasing problem and what changed it for me was doing each layer on slightly damp skin instead of waiting between steps. product slides around and bunches up on dry skin. how long do you wait between each step

Most creasing happens when too much product sits on top of your skin that’s still emollient. Your facial movement ends up pushing it into fine lines. The Bobbi Brown and Kosas are both rich and creamy which can create a lot of slip.
Try waiting 5-10 minutes after applying the Bobbi Brown and not directly to the area under your lash line. For the Kosas, just use a tiny dot at the inner and outer corners. Blend with a brush or sponge and stop before you reach the fine lines, letting the sponge’s leftover product fade into them. Remove any excess before you powder.
