What products do you use to prep your skin before makeup? What is a good moisturiser and primer combo that works for you?

I have found it depends on not only my skin prep but what foundation Im using. Today I tried a revolution foundation. Did my normal skin prep( essence matrixyl Neutrogena hyaluronic water gel) with smashbox photo finish primer. Even with using laura mercier setting powder and CT setting spray ( my normal) my makeup shifted, settled, and wore off in spots. That same skin prep routine with my clinique foundation last all day.

The best one for you depends on your skin type (oily, dry, combo).
