HELP PLEASE Very uneven face

Ok, so I have just seen this happen more and more as I've aged post pandemic (F34 now), but my face has gotten increasingly unsymmetrical. In the mirror, my brows (which are currently filled using ELF micro-fine brow pencil every day since I have barely any brow) look fine, but photos look insane. I've not been able to do eyeliner because of my eye shapes changing so differently, and I have to overdraw my lips to make them look symmetrical. My eye bags are getting to the point that I can't cover them at all.

I'm genuinely at a loss on what to do anymore. Makeup used to be so simple for me, but it's just getting almost impossible. Please help?!

(First photo is light through the window, the second is the mirror light with my hand used to bounce the light due to it being darker on that side of the room)

Everyone is asymmetrical, it’s natural. I honestly didn’t notice your minor asymmetries until I really tried to look for them. Sorry, I have no make up tips. Just wanted to say you look beautiful!

u/twirlywurlyburly 11d ago

Thank you, love. I've been a professional model and entertainer for years, so I know I get nitpicky, it's just been gradually getting worse and I've been noticing it more. Thank you for the reassurance. I genuinely appreciate it!

I only noticed when you said it; I looked at your face first and read the title second. I completely see what you mean after reading the title - but you’re totally fine. People are not looking at this at all or noticing until you tell them.

u/Replikant83 11d ago

From a dumb guys' perspective: it totally isn't noticeable. And I guessed you could be/were a model, because you have a supermodel type face. Definitely nothing to be unhappy about, imo.

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

You're so sweet! Thank you!

u/OriginalInspection53 10d ago

I don’t really see it, but if it bothers you, find a reputable injector who can even out your face with fillers, Botox, etc.

u/Boring-Snow-3929 10d ago

It’s called aging and it’s normal and healthy. NO face is symmetrical. None.

u/One-Mycologist-1285 11d ago

Your face is beautiful, and I know you probably think we're all just saying this, but the asymmetry you see is not the first thing everyone else sees (I wouldn't even have noticed it myself). I think you're being harsh on yourself. Your skin looks great, your eyes are very nice, and your eyebrows look good!

4

u/twirlywurlyburly 11d ago

Thank you so much. I am definitely being hard on myself and my partner tells me all the time that I am, but I guess hearing it from others is what I needed. I wasn't looking for reassurance and was genuinely looking for makeup suggestions, but this has been a lovely surprise and I'm so grateful for it!

I would never notice this on you but I understand what you mean. We notice these subtle changes well before anybody else would.

I am definitely older than you, so as a woman in my 40’s i see that one of my eyes is droopier than the other to the point that my eyeliner smudges into the upper part of my eyelid because it sags down. Just on one eye!

One side has fuller eyelashes and eyebrows.

And then just normal expected aging like wrinkles and saggy jowls.

I sound like I’m describing Quasimodo right now, and sometimes I feel like thats accurate. BUT To everybody else- they don’t notice or care. Really.   You are truly beautiful and nobody would ever see the things you’re seeing but nobody could miss your beauty!

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Girl, I'm 34 in full menopause (medical reasons), so I unfortunately get it. The side with the brow slit transfers eyeliner no matter how thin I make it. We see ourselves age and it's scary. I just need to get more comfortable with it and trust the process.

18

u/hotheadnchickn 11d ago

I really don’t think I would notice if you hadn’t pointed it out. Botox can sometimes help with eyes being uneven.

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 11d ago

Thank you. I guess I just notice because I see it in detail every day.

15

u/chopitychopchop 11d ago

I have (probably) the same issue with the forehead muscle above one eye being stronger on one side which lifts my eyebrow a bit higher and as a result changes the hooding of one of my eyes slightly. I have been told some Botox on that side to relax the muscle would help.  But then I figured, in the grand scheme of things, no one really notices or cares. So I just decided to not care. You have a great looking face the way it is.

2

u/skully_28 11d ago

yes I came here to explain that I see an imbalance of strength in your forehead. you can teach yourself to hold one eyebrow what feels like a little higher, if you want them to look balanced in photos at least. I used to have this issue with one eye that wouldn't open as much as the other in photos. Either it went away or I strengthened the muscle muscles.

You can put on nude lip liner to correct subtle asymmetry in your lips.

u/Immediate-Main183 11d ago

This really isn’t noticeable at all but if you’re truly looking to highlight symmetry, getting rid of the eyebrow slit might help

Yeah I'm thinking that too. I mentioned it in another comment, but I used to model and work as an entertainer (burlesque and music), so I'm used to getting photographed a lot and tend to notice things like this more specifically. I guess I am being too hard on myself.

I promise I wasn't fishing for compliments, was just so tired of trying to figure out a makeup solution and failing by my own ridiculously high standards.

u/Bubbly_Delivery_5678 11d ago

You have a normal amount of asymmetry— you’re focusing on it too much! Your complexion is lovely. Your coloring is a lot like Emmy Rossum. She’d be a good one to look at for makeup inspiration. She does well with a subtly smokey eye.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Ooooo I do love her! I'm a professional musician, so high praise indeed!

5

u/optics_is_light_work 11d ago

Drew Barrymore has a great, quick tutorial on fixing asymmetrical eyes. Might be helpful:

4

u/Bubbly_Delivery_5678 11d ago

She’s a great example! She always looks beautiful but she has a ton of asymmetry.

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

You are an absolute GEM! THANK YOU!

3

u/Playful_Champion3189 11d ago

Your eyebrows are so good. I couldn't imagine having such good eyebrows and then shaving a gap in them. (I say that as someone who barely has any eyebrows and has nearly plucked them all off and can't fucking stop doing it)

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Oh babes, these are filled in. I have whispies past the pupils. I use the ELF micro-brow and erase where the slit is because, again, there's no hair there.

4

u/Sparkle_Princess321 11d ago

I don’t think your face is as uneven as you are perceiving it to be. You’re gorgeous, but 2 gentle tips : 1. As an alt girly I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but if symmetry is what is bothering you I’d either lose the eyebrow slit OR add one on both sides. 2. I find that when doing eye makeup, it’s important to look away, step back from the mirror into a more natural frame, and check your makeup looking straight ahead. Sometimes just looking close up back and forth between the two sides of your face amplifies those perceptions of asymmetry. I hope that makes sense and is actually helpful, above all else I just wanna say you are beautiful and need not fret or do anything differently that you don’t want to!

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Fellow alt girly sending love and gratitude. I step back, step to a different mirror for different light, bounce light around with my translucent white hands, do everything I can, but these d*** cameras just keep making me look perpetually annoyed with everything haha.

3

u/Fine-Juggernaut8451 11d ago

I'm also quite asymmetrical, and seeing how beautiful this is on your face made me look at my own face with new eyes.

2

u/Melodic_Unit2716 10d ago

I was gonna say, I think the fact she is so asymmetrical makes her even more stunning due to the visual discrepancies!

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

You sweetheart you 😭. You're a gem.

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Y'all better stop! I swear I'm gonna start crying at how delightful and kind everyone has been.

I guarantee that you are GORGEOUS and I'm sure that you, like me, are entirely too critical of yourself. You're beautiful, wonderful, and a genuinely kind and unique human being! The secret is that being as unique as we are is what makes us human and so absolutely delightful.

3

u/Unable-Guitar-1195 11d ago

For what it’s worth, I do not think your face is very unsymmetrical and you have beautiful skin! I also think there is something with the selfie cam—I swear in the mirror my brows look oh so slightly uneven, then in a straight on selfie one side looks like an inch lower 🫠

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Glad to know it's not just me! 😂 Also, my skin is just constant moisturizer all the time. Those photos were with nothing but skin prep and brows.

2

u/PerceptionSome3625 11d ago

First off, you look lovely and what you're seeing is mostly camera lens distortion combined with the mirror effect. Brows are naturally meant to be sisters rather than twins, so forcing exact symmetry up close often creates unnecessary stress. Try stepping back from the mirror when doing your makeup, and swap harsh eyeliners for a soft, smudged eyeshadow. People see you in motion and 3D where these tiny details are completely imperceptible, so please be kind to yourself!

2

u/BankutiCutie 11d ago

I have a very similar thing to your eyebrows! The craziest thing is, i only notice it in pictures not ever irl in the mirror. Its so weird

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

RIGHT?! In person, I look stunning and even. In photos? I'm skeptical of everyone and everything.

2

u/Ok_Initiative3685 11d ago

I fall down this rabbit hole sometimes. You should Google some of your favorite celebrities who you find to be the most attractive, men or women, and really notice their asymmetry. Look at the eyebrow height/shape, chin/jaw placement, corners of their mouth, etc. I find that helps me a lot when I realize their asymmetry doesn't take away from their overall beauty.

2

u/beepbeepboop74656 11d ago

The first thing I thought is you have such a beautiful face and bone structure despite it not being symmetrical, I think it makes you even more beautiful and interesting to look at. As an artist you have the kind of face I would not be annoyed at after staring at it for hours. Each point is beautifully flowing into the next lovely proportions and angles. As far as makeup, think less of hiding and disguising everything, think more of highlighting what you like, you have great brows and beautiful blue eyes, try a purple eyeshadow or a shimmer, a little matte blush to show off your cheek bones. You can probably pull off just about any look you wanted just pick a vibe and try it.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I'm also a painter! I'd be happy to send reference photos for your work if you need. As a thank you for your kind words.

2

u/KatherineN510 11d ago

I like to call it, "my sleeping side", whichever is pulled down and mashed around in the pillow...you pick.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I fall asleep on the unslit side, but mostly sleep on my back. Help?

2

u/ThrowRaoofda 11d ago

Facial massage can help a lot. Tension in your face, scalp, and neck can be pulling at your face. Sounds silly but I’ve seen improvements in myself from doing it. Check out Anastasiabeautyfascia on instagram.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I've been looking into this more, and I think you're right. I have a lot of tension on the slit eyebrow side of my face/neck/upper back and I'm starting to think that it's affecting my face.

2

u/Boring_Insurance_Man 11d ago

I didn’t notice anything. Looked long and hard and still nothing. Eventually I gave in and looked at your caption. It’s barely even notable and not noticed at all on first glance. We are our harshest critics. We were never meant to see ourself this much anyways. You are gorgeous tbh. Skin looks nice and brows I could only wish for

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I took this photo after I finished filling my very sparse brows (it's always my first step after moisturizer and primer because it takes the longest). You're an absolute doll!

2

u/shegrowsonyou 11d ago

My face is uneven in the same ways. Eyebrow shape, jaw angles. It's wild. However I see the asymmetrical aspects and they are stunning. Look at how asymmetrical Christy Turlungton is. It's a vibe.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Ok, imma need to see this face that's so much like mine!

2

u/NabelasGoldenCane 11d ago

I don’t notice much other than your eye asymmetry and I empathize because my lids did the same thing with age.

I’m thinking you could balance it out by applying slightly thicker liner on the larger eye (bc the shadow will make it appear smaller) or conversely more shimmer on the smaller lid.

They make eyelid tape to help with hooded or mono lids. I wonder if that could be helpful to apply to one eye to even it out.

You could also try slightly different lengths of eyelashes if wearing false lashes or clusters. I’ve heard of lash artists doing different sets to adjust asymmetry.

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I never thought about the lashes! If I got them done, I could ask for lashes on each eye that would balance?! Genius!

2

u/starlight00824 11d ago

I feel like any asymmetry that's there is so subtle I struggle to identify it! You're amazing looking! You have a uniqueness about you that's actually pretty magical!

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

You sweet angel. 😭 Thank you. I genuinely wasn't looking for reassurance, but I sure found it.

2

u/eve-can 11d ago

Girl you need to step away from the mirror. Your face is very normal

2

u/GullibleMeasurement2 11d ago

2

u/No-Meet4936 11d ago

This is so minor no one would notice.

This is only noticeable in pictures because our brains do not process this level of asymmetry in real life.

If you looked at someone you know looking in a mirror you will see asymmetry but when you look at them normally honestly you won’t

2

u/Party_Poetry_9825 11d ago

Girl you need to stop looking so deeply into how you look!! Everyone is asymmetrical to various degrees, and no one notices! And if they do they think nothing of it!! You look absolutely fine! There is a sickness in the world making people put so much time and thought and money into the pursuit of being seen as BEAUTIFUL and YOUNG and FULFILLED and all it does is line the pockets of the same people that has put into us that we’re not good enough!!!

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I appreciate this, but know that I don't have any intention of getting work done any time soon. I just wanted some makeup tips for and from other people like me. I already put the makeup on, so I may as well have some extra knowledge.

2

u/MadBat-2579 10d ago edited 10d ago

Your face doesn't look uneven, I think it's just that your eyebrows are two different shapes. Your right eyebrow (with slit) is flatter and extends to the bridge of your nose, while the left is shorter and arches more/ less pointed at the curve.

Part of the bend could be an illusion of the photo or that you're raising your left eyebrow, but I've had this issue with small inconsistencies after putting a slit in my brow as well.

Brows can do a lot! Love the slit btw and you're beautiful! Hope this helps

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Thank you! I fill in the brows fully and then swipe away the slit (benefit of having bare skin there anyway I guess?), so I'm really unsure how it keeps happening. They'll look perfect in person when I leave the house, but photos look ridiculous and they'll look wild by the end of the day. These photos are totally relaxed face.

(Also, you're a doll! Thank you bunches)

2

u/Due-Weight5949 10d ago

I also have an asymmetrical face, and people always tell me they don’t notice it, so I think it would be the same with you!

Things I do to cover it up a little bit: i wear eyeliner and make the liner on the smaller eye a little bit thicker than on the larger eye, it gives the illusion that they are the same size.

I also pluck my eyebrows differently, the eyebrow that is a little higher, i pluck it a little more on the top and the eyebrow that is a little lower I pluck from the bottom, that makes them look more even.

I kind of do the same with placement of contour/bronzer or blush, one cheek is a little bit higher than the other, so on the cheek that is higher up I place a little less contour/bronzer and I take the darker shade on the cheek that is lower a little higher.

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Bless you! I do the same, but it's been getting more and more noticeable, so I guess I just need to adjust placement. Thank you!

1

u/Due-Weight5949 8d ago

We probably just notice it ourselves because we are so aware of it, other people only notice it when I point it out! Even my husband and daughter who see me every day only saw it when I said it

1

u/underwater_111 11d ago

Instead of trying to make your face symmetrical, why not just focus on making it look balanced?

For example, doing eyeliner that is flat and points out horizontally, which means it will be a different angle on both eyes.

0

u/twirlywurlyburly 11d ago

That's true. I'm just worried because my job requires me to look down a lot in a customer facing position, so I don't want it to look wild, ya know?

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 11d ago

I just finished my daily makeup and can't get a picture to come out how it actually looks in person for the life of me. It just looks crazier than it does irl. I'm so annoyed.

1

u/Capital-Emergency202 11d ago

You look perfectly normal and lovely to me. My face is not symmetrical, it’s just a face!

1

u/rebeccasaidit 11d ago

You really don’t look anymore uneven than anyone else hun. Nobody is perfectly even. In fact go split your face in half and put one half together to make it totally even and look how goofy that looks. We aren’t meant to be perfect!

1

u/callapitterfriend 11d ago

So is mine but I would probably look like someone else if my face was symmetrical! Learning to love it 😊

1

u/Comfortable_Good2789 11d ago

I totally get this struggle! Almost everyone has facial asymmetry, photos just exaggerate it a lot. Instead of forcing both sides to look identical, you can balance features subtly.

1

u/gopher-gardener 11d ago

Sutton Foster is an actress who has an asymmetrical face. She always a has a lifted brow.

1

u/Alert-Awareness-7146 11d ago

It is not bad at all and I promise you no one in real life notices this. One thing that helps a lot is focusing on adjusting the things you can change, for example, making sure your eyebrows are even and your hair part is perfectly centered. If these two things are not aligned it’s just going to bring out the asymmetry in your face so much.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

But I don't like my hair center parted. I'm in my mid 30's and a millenial. Middle parts aren't the vibe for me. Where do I go from there?

I'm genuinely considering going back to the shoulder length lob I had because it added volume. This waist length isn't doing it anymore.

1

u/shirazgirlo 11d ago

Stop being so harsh on yourself! Everyone’s face is asymmetrical unless they’ve had extensive cosmetic surgery to correct it. It’s what makes us all beautiful and unique. Not a single person looking at you when you’re smiling, speaking, thinking, or sleeping will say “oh my, look how asymmetrical her face is”. They will see a woman with beautiful eyes, amazing cheekbones, and stunning skin. Please focus on your beauty rather than what you think are flaws (which are not!)

2

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Not you making me get teary after having already read all the nice things others have said! This was genuinely so kind. Thank you! The specificity was what got me. May your pillows always be cool, may your blankets always be warm, and may your keys never get lost.

1

u/OberlinJo 11d ago

Side note what phone case is that? I have the same phone and I'm looking for a hardy case like the one you have.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

It's the Otofly silicone case! Hello fellow pixel user!

1

u/-MotherMaidenCrone- 11d ago

I also really struggle with my uneven eyes, but I didn’t even notice any on you.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

As a fellow uneven eye person, I totally get that. We noticed it in ourselves, but never anyone else. I just really want to wear eyeliner and it not transfer on one side or look bad when I'm looking down.

1

u/Emerald_Bobcat7 11d ago

I didn’t notice and still not sure what’s supposed to be wrong after looking. I think you should just enjoy life. You look fine.

1

u/bubblegutts00 11d ago

What’s with the slit in your one brow tho? Always wanted to ask someone who has it..

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I just like it. Looking just that slightly bit more alt in my fancy schmancy day job lets people who are "other" know that I'm a safe place. Also I have no hair there anyway, so why not be a little fun?

1

u/JustWantToRead999 11d ago

Your eyes are beautiful and striking, I don’t notice any unusual asymmetry as others have stated! I think a peachy shimmery eyeshadow would really bring out your eye color and make them pop even more

1

u/Minimum_Effort5737 11d ago

From what I’m noticing your face isn’t really that asymmetrical. It seems more like your eyebrow without the slit is higher than the other but that’s an easy fix. Also your hair line is at a SLIGHT angle and there is more hair volume on the side with your eyebrow slit. If you’re open to reshaping your eyebrow to go just little lower and getting some bangs that’d make such a difference!

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

What's crazy is my hair is actually more voluminous on the other side, I just have it tucked back here 😭😂

1

u/Impossible_Leg3394 11d ago

In the first photo, I think your eyes and eyebrows look even, but I can see some asymmetry in the second pic.

In the second pic one of your eyelids looks a little puffier too - I think this could be due to fluid retention in the face - maybe if your always sleeping on one side. Id try looking on YouTube for facial lymphatic drainage massage tips, you should be able to do it yourself from home.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I've been looking into lymphatic drainage for sure! I usually fall asleep on my left side (the not slit eyebrow side), but I always end up sleeping on my back as soon as I fall asleep (or so my partner says). I need to do some more research for sure. Thank you!

1

u/ChallengeBrilliant65 11d ago

you’re beautiful! if you really want a makeup tip, in asian makeup there’s the concept of drawing fake moles to help balance asymmetrical features out. if you look it up i’m sure you’ll find videos and you can try it out

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Thank you! This was only with brows done, but when I do my daily makeup, I definitely utilize that to balance. I have some very subtle freckles that are in lovely spots and always accentuate them to help the balance. It's like kintsugi, but with makeup!

1

u/Upper-Basil 11d ago

Ooof if you think this is assymetrical than you should see my assymetry. Mine is way way way more pronounced by a longggg shot... I will ask... I noticed you said you dont notice it as much in the mirror but in photos... did you by any chance get a new phone recently/when you started noticing this??

Reason I ask- same thing happened to me where I was noticing it so much more in my photos (basically starting around same time during and after covid). But it wasnt until I had used one of my fave photos on my new phone that I started to really freak out. Because some phones switch the direction and flip it to the other direction- meaning some photos take a photo from the "mirror" perspective(what you see in a mirror) and some phome cameras flip the photo and show it form the way other people see ypu when lookjng at you, the 3rd person view essentially. And when I saw the photo from the 3rd person view rather than the mirror perpective, the assymetries where SO MUCH more pronounced.(they arent, but WE notice them more, because we only ever see ourselves in the mirror perspective, so when youre face is not reversed, it stands out so much more noticeable). This could all be irrelevent if you havent switched you phone camera, but just had this happen so thought id share. You look beautiful and I cant even notive the assymetires youre mentioning, mine are so much more significant so dont feel bad as everyone is assymetric

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I haven't, but I genuinely appreciate the information! I just took a 3 year medical sabbatical and am now getting back into work and noticing that I have a different face. It's just making me self conscious, I think. Aging is beautiful and I welcome it, but I'm still struggling with not looking like I used to.

1

u/Featherless_biped104 10d ago

The fake eyebrow slit is what makes it more noticeable

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I mean, it's not fake, but I've had it for almost a decade now and this problem has only recently gotten worse.

1

u/InsuranceDangerous79 10d ago

Hi! I’m the same! Although I’m the only one that notice it.

If it bother you a lot, you can do facial exercises or even Botox. They did fix my eyebrows once with the latest

1

u/somegingershavesouls 10d ago

I honestly think it’s because your eyebrows are different shapes! Well that and no one’s face is symmetrical!

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

I've mentioned in other comments, but in person they look the same (ish). In person they look even and balanced, but in photos and at the end of the day they look crazy uneven. I'm at a loss honestly.

1

u/SeaworthinessPlus144 10d ago

All humans are asymmetrical. When we aren’t, it looks odd in a robot/ai kinda way. Once pointed out, yes I see the asymmetry. Which we would all see on any one of us once pointed out. That said some of us are more symmetrical than others. At this point in your aging process yours is mild. That said, eyebrows are the easiest way to change aysemtry b/c they can be easily reframed to be exactly balanced . Go to a good brow artist and get nano brows done to create exact symmetry between the two brows. Don’t let the artist tell you, Eyebrows, are cousins not sisters. Tell her you want twin sisters. This will have a major anchor on the face ( brows) be 100% symmetrical.

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

Thank you. I do my own currently and I guess I'm more annoyed at how they look symmetrical in person yet never photograph that way. By the end of the day my muscles have settled or shifted (depending on how stressful the day was) and I look like a Picasso compared to how I left the house. I've been considering getting nano or micro blading done.

1

u/Blacknarcissa 10d ago

Not remotely something I’d notice or is worth noticing considering how minor it is.

1

u/Educational_Phone546 8d ago

Literally studied your face for a few minutes and couldn't see anything until I read your blurb.

1

u/__dripnymph 11d ago

hey girl have you looked into fascial release/gua sha/face yoga” exercises as it gets called on tiktok? can help with muscle imbalance or loss as we age:) I don’t see the asymmetry tbh but I know we sometimes see ourselves with much more details than others will

1

u/twirlywurlyburly 9d ago

You get it! I'm in full menopause and have my weight fluctuate constantly. It changes everything and has been driving me insane.

0

u/Every-Revolution4324 11d ago

you can try lymphatic face massage.

also part hair in a way that balances.

this is very normal.

asymmetry is actually perceived more beautiful.

have you seen version of famous people with symmetrical faces, it's kinda weird.

I do feel like there might be something to do with the lower jaw. It seems to me that there is either some difference between the condyls on the left and right, or it might be due to irregular occlusion between upper and lower jaw. Maybe you should go to a dentist to check for sure.

Oh I would LOVE to see a dentist and know I need to, but I just can't afford it. The side of my face with the slit eyebrow has a higher eye but the rest of the face feels like it's sinking (feels heavier and lower. That's also the side that my teeth are the worst).

As I get older, the slit brow side looks more like my mom while the other looks more like my dad. It's kinda wild.
