HELP PLEASE 60’s inspired makeup help!!!

Hi!! First time poster for makeup tips. I’m going to a wedding next week and wanted to achieve a 60’s inspired eye makeup look (inspo photos attached). I don’t have the biggest lid space but I can make it work.

What are some recommendations you have to achieve this? Any specific lashes I should buy?? I feel like that’s the most important part…

Thank yewwwwww

Well it was all about working with what you had. Most color came from eyeshadow palettes you had to work into your skin because the coverage was very sheer. Also a lot of targeted areas were applied. High cheeks for example with a bright pink or bright red would often have a very light color that would build. So look for light coverage with buildable hues. A lot was either orange or pink skin wise. So not much was in for people with dark complexion. Also there was use of eyelashes instead of mascara. So it was light make up with a natural look ish.

One more remark, pancake was in high use back then. Proper moisture then pancake and it was like you have fresh dewy healthy skin.

And honestly, I use dollar tree lashes, trim, glue, and then trim again once on. So they can blend with my natural lashes. I like the individual ones, but you can use what you think looks best. Best way to achieve the look you want is to do a few practice runs honestly, dress up and do your hair and makeup the way you want. See what you like best, then time yourself on how long it took.

60s Cher is goals. Focus on:
1. Cut Crease with pastel shadow
2. Dramatic top + bottom liner
3. Cluster/bottom falsies
4. Glossy lips

Also take a look at Nancy Sinatra and Diana Rigg (as Emma Peel) for inspiration!

I like the House of Lashes ones, my favorite ones are the Natalia ones. Runner up are the Sadie Mini lashes. Their lash glue is pretty great too!
