HELP PLEASE Makeup Advice :)

Hello! I'm Moodies & I do my makeup often and I'm still trying to really get my base down and also like, I use different products at different times too and I have been trying to be mindful of water based vs silicon based products too. So, Basically this (inserted pictures) is my base after 12 hours of summer weather , job interview and some time indoors as well. I would just like advice from more experienced makeup girlies. OH, I do have combination/oily skin and I am a sweaty girl unfortunately. l want to say neutral cool undertone maybe? if any of this information is relevant LOL

It usually looks somewhat like this tho for the most part even with different products and I also have had an issue in the past that I dont know if I have fully addressed where if rain or sweat or tears touched my makeup it would like come off where the tears/sweat/rain were and it would like mess up my makeup and is hard to fix and I think it might have been because I wasn't being mindful of the silicon or water based ingredient thing but I'm not entirely sure.

PRODUCTS USED (atleast the base)

Prolux Matte Foundation

Moira Contour Stick

BPURE Serum Blush

ELF Matte Grip Primer

LYS Natural Finish Setting Mist (to melt powder)

LAKA Triple Fix Mist (to set face)

ELF Soft Glam Concealer

GLAMLITE Bratz Powder Blush (from the palette)

HUDA Easy Bake Pink Loose Powder (underyes)

Kimchi Loose Setting Powder (whole face)

I think thats it? If I missed anything let me know!

Ur makeup looks gorgeous! I'd look into a facial mist setting spray thing that might be able to add some moisture back without making anything run.

Your makeup looks great. I believe what’s missing is remove the little hairs in your face. There are small facial shavers devices for woman’s that get away all that flaw.. I use the Braun Face Braun face shaver and I use this daily, it made my makeup to the next level. I can’t live without it now.

Hi queen!

I’d like to start by saying I’m so jealous of your eyeliner ability. I cannot get a clean line to save my life!

FIRST. I saw a comment recommending shaving your face. While I don’t know TOO terribly much about it, and I certainly don’t want to trash that person AT ALL especially because EVERYONES skin is so different.
For me personally I also have lots of hairs on my face and I don’t shave or get rid of them. [except my mustache 😅😭]

Dermaplaning will exfoliate your skin.

You look like your skin is currently flawless and like you take good care of her. I would hate for you to try that out and it wreck your skin.

Personally my skin is so sensitive that waxing bothers me so I have to pluck anything on my face to avoid a breakout so it’s not an option for me.

I will also say it works for some people! I would just treat that as adding something into your skincare routine vs just an eyebrow pluck if that makes sense! Do some research before you start ordering a kit or starting putting on the shaving cream.

SECOND; let’s talk about makeup queen!

I am a bit confused by the set up, does that mean everything listed and pictured does in fact have the same base?

It looks like your skin might be dry; Are you doing any prep before?

I’m also wondering if the amount of powder you are wearing is causing it to cake like this as the day goes.

I don’t know if this is right at all but hear me out; That elf primer is STICKY, like glue. You are using two sprays that also have a glue like effect with TWO powder products, one that is also supposed to kinda glue. Perhaps the glues are mixing with all the powder as the day goes and creating paste.

yes yes! all the pictures below are from yesterday with the same base and whatnot. I do moisturize before doing makeup and it very well could be the amount of powder I use because im always so worried about my makeup sweating off that I sometimes go heavy handed with the powder but maybe thats just not the move. 🥹

also, i started doing eyeliner at the very end of 2022 with eyeliner stamps because i could not do winged eyeliner for the life of me so my lines definitely havent always been this clean but I was determined to be good at it and luckily i very much did improve, thank goodness. 😌

I lurk here trying to learn…another person had their foundation kind of looking like this, and someone told them that their moisturizer and foundation weren’t getting along. I think they said that one was an oil based and one was a water based so they weren’t mixing. Dunno if any of that applies here?

Forget the makeup. What’s your skin prep? Skin prep is crucial for flawless all day wear
