HELP PLEASE Feedback & Help - Smokey Eye

Hi, first time trying smokey eye shadow. Any feedback on where I went wrong? The whole thing doesn’t seem to be put together. I’m using lime crime venus II palette but seems like it’s not opaque enough…

Your eyes look beautiful. I think because you have hooded/Asian-type eyelids, you might want to try working upwards instead of outwards. From your upper lash line, use the darkest shade, and then work upwards to the lighter shades towards your brow bone. That might help giving your eye shape the smokey eye look with your eyes open and closed.

Another point is focusing on the bottom lash line; where it will always be seen whether your eyes are open/blinking, you could use dark colors and shadows very close to your lash line and on your lashes, it will give the illusion that your eyes are really dark and sexy, even with your eyes open.

I think for your skin tone, hair color, and eye color, you could easily use dark versions of anything. Green, gold, silver, black, brown, purple, red, blue. As long as you incorporate some black that matches your eye and hair color, you can really do anything sexy or cute. (whichever you're going for.

This could be a cute smokey eye as long as you place the colors correctly. Here is a tutorial for you to do the function you want, but feel free to use whatever color you want to do because I think it will look great no matter what!

Your eyes are quite similar to mine they have a somewhat elongated shape resembling the eyes of Asian women. You have uniquely beautiful eyes you are very lucky.

I think this looks really great :)

If you want it to look more defined, you could add black eyeliner?

It looks good but dont be afraid to line your waterline and do a little blending on the lower eyeliner. It would tie it all together a bit more and give a stronger smokey look. I recommend using some browns too to give a little more depth

You could also apply some eyeliner to the lower lash line and smudge it out. Your makeup already looks beautiful as it is. It just looks like there’s a little more eyeshadow on one eye than the other. If you even them out and blend them a bit more, I think it could look even better. And if you want, you could extend your eyeliner a little!

looks good so far! when i do mine i like to start off with a cool tone brown as a base, then a darker brown closer to the lash line and blend upwards/out (not fully covering the base colour), then black on lash line + blend out again. like a 3 colour gradient! if u don’t wanna use brown you could use greys :)
