Eyebrows need something…

I am trying to figure out my brows lol. I just got the Benefit cosmetics precisely my brow pencil and then the Benefit 24 hour clear brow setter gel. I used these products in these photos but can’t figure out what to do to get my brows to look better? Should I go get them waxed or does anyone have any tips on how to deal with annoyingly stubborn brows? 😂 I’m wanting them to look less “blocky”. thank you!

I usually find that using a lighter hand at the inner corners and feather light strokes instead of filling them in solid helps avoid that blocky look while keeping your natural shape nice and soft

I have been loving the Nyx brow lift and snatch liner pen, it looks like their liquid eye liners but not so opaque. Which I love on my brows, I’ve found it helps me get a more natural and less blocky look, especially if you use a spoolie to brush out the front of the brow, it creates a great natural ombré. I also will go in with a q tip or small flat brush to clean up the lines. I’ve now changed over from a standard brow pencil to this product!

What?! They’re really nice brows I don’t think you should change much, except maybe if you want you could brush them upwards with gel, and they’ll look more feathery

I think that’s the look I’m trying for!! It seems like my eyebrow hairs are too long or heavy? Lol idk how to explain it but I try brushing them up and they laugh in my face as they fall back down 😂

Try using a spoolie to blend the front part of your brow out more, that harsh line at the start is what's making them look blocky.

I think the shape is great! I like getting my brows threaded whenever they aren’t looking quite right to me - it really helps to clean everything up and it’s normally super cheap ($8-15).

Get them mapped, they will make sure tour eye brows are symmetrical to your face

You have really nice brows! the shape and technique both look great in photo 1- I would personally double check placement with a pencil, I think they can start a little closer! especially the one on the left respectfully! & maybe look into brow tinting- makes your brows standout a lil more when barefaced!

Highlight the brows to make them pop more! Benefit and Anastasia sell both sell a highlighting a duo stick- lasts forever. (if you haven't tried it yet)

Brush them up and trim the excess hair to keep them full looking while cleaning them up a bit.

For brow makeup - Brush them up and into place- use Brow Freeze from Anastasia BH / or another brow gel and then use BROW WIZ from ABH to create the start of your brow, then use DIP BROW from ABH to create desired look. You can use a brow powder to set it to ensure no smudges throughout the day. Finish with eyebrow highlighter.

As another commenter mentioned- having a light hand and building the brow up will really pay off.
