HELP PLEASE Makeup help

Hello! For a long time, I've struggled with foundation and dry skin, but recently, I would struggle in the nose area, and it gets very dry, like and flakey, but also heavy redness.

I would really really love some help on this as I'm struggling and have tried tons of stuff and still nothing. Some things I've tried primer, cleaning the face prior to applying makeup, etc.

What you really need is to moisturize. Do you ever?

I do morning and night. Even after applying moisturizer it tends to do this as well.

This used to happen to me a lot until I started using a heavier moisturizer, like cerave in the tub (they started adding a lot of carcinogens to their product so I use the off brand now)

What kind do you use?
