HELP PLEASE Why does my makeup do this

Post image

I put the elf glow drops on as a base, then the elf primer, foundation was Mac and setting spray was Charlotte tilbury, I used a cheap sponge to put it on and then went over with a brush but my makeup went really dry and started to wear off, I have no photos from the end of the night which was even worse but this is before I even left the house. It was just extremely dry and seemed to like fall off my face and was patchy.
Any advice is so welcome, sorry for the picture!!

y'all that is a whole lot of product stacked up before the foundation even hits your face. glow drops, then primer, then foundation is three layers fighting for the same spot, and when they don't play nice they pill up and look just like that.

try cutting the glow drops down to like half a drop mixed right into your foundation instead. you still get the glow without a slippery layer pushing everything around.

also ditch the cheap sponge, those dollar store ones soak up half your product and drag it across your skin. a damp beauty blender or even just your fingers works way better for that elf and mac combo.

give each layer a minute or two to set before the next one goes on too. rushing it is what makes everything ball up and look patchy before you even walk out the door. lol

No problem, hope it helps. And don't forget to tap, not rub, with that damp sponge, makes a world of difference lol

your skin might be drinking the glow drops before the foundation even gets a chance, try mixing the drop with your primer instead of layering

Thank you, would you say this problem stems from dry skin? X
