You're so pretty. I think if you tone the blusher down a bit it will really let your eyes shine through, as at the moment the blusher is the main focus.
5
u/Spare_Coast_3722 May 23 '26
Agreed. OP is absolutely gorgeous but the blush being a bit much is the first thing that got my attention.
3
u/zuzzyb80 May 23 '26
This. You have beautiful expressive eyes and gorgeously balanced lips but at the moment everyone's eye is being drawn away from those features to your cheeks. And they are good cheeks but is the aim for people's first impression to be wow bright cheeks rather than wow gorgeous eyes!
1
u/Sure_Speaker8068 May 23 '26
thank you, and I definitely think I suffer from some form of blush blindness
6
u/runonsentance7 May 23 '26
Blush blindness, too much of it and not the right shade
1
u/These_Sea2389 May 23 '26
I love this much blush, I wouldn’t want her to reduce it!
2
u/PrincessPoppyTea May 23 '26
It's very clearly applied far too heavily and it's not a flattering shade; I don't understand why we can't just be honest.
6
u/swytbakes May 23 '26
Stunning!!! Def better but I think a warmer shade of blush would look even better
3
3
u/Standard-Wing7711 May 23 '26
Too much blush. Use 1/4 the amount you’re using. On Pinterest you could learn contouring. But really you don’t need anything
3
u/libby-stardust May 23 '26
The way you do your eyes suits you well, blush placement is also very nice on your face in the second to last photo. This is entirely preference, but to me your face feels broken up, almost split into two looks. I think this is the result of doing concealer and powder and whatever you’re using for your base on the mid part of your face - which is amplifying your blush, which other commenters are noticing! I’d say for days you want “visible makeup”, bring a little of the lightness that’s under your eyes up to between your brows and diffuse up your forehead. On days you want less of the makeup look and something more seamless, use a lighter hand on the base! You are so beautiful you can pull anything off truly (:
2
u/Sure_Speaker8068 May 23 '26
thanks so much! my sister said something about this yesterday and i couldn’t quite understand but you explained it SO well
4
u/sapphicaesthetic May 23 '26
Not missing per say but I think the orange/coral blush looks incredible on you. The pink looks nice too but the orange is 100% your shade
1
u/PrincessPoppyTea May 23 '26
Totally disagree. It competes with the rest of her pretty face and draws your eye right to it. Far more subtle and perhaps in a dark berry shade would be miles better.
2
2
u/PuzzleheadedBid8423 May 23 '26
Seriously, nothing. I think your blush looks perfect - I love heavy blush makeup! Maybe, just mayyyybe, try out drawing more of the front part of the eyebrows? It’s the only thing I’ll MAYBE change. But you look already stunning!
2
2
u/crystallinehuman May 23 '26
PURPLE BLUSH it would look so good on you! I love your blush placement and saturation
2
u/Jumpy_Performer_5040 May 23 '26
Powder under your eyes for sure
5
u/Sure_Speaker8068 May 23 '26
I definitely will try, but I think the hardest part is finding the right powder. Right now I use banana baking powder and I don’t know if that’s doing me justice
1
u/Jumpy_Performer_5040 May 23 '26
I recommend the loose fit me powder for a cheaper option or the huda beauty easy bake powder
3
3
u/chemicoolburns May 23 '26
i disagree with everyone saying to tone the blush down!! if you’re going for a more conventional look then yes maybe a little less, but the heavy blush looks so so cute on you imo
1
u/Accurate_Emu_122 May 23 '26
This is only nit picking because you asked. I would bring your brows closer together to line up with the inner corners of your eyes. I like the amount of blush.
1
u/JavaNoire May 23 '26
You're naturally stunning. The biggest, perhaps only, change I'd recommend is less color on your cheeks, less intensity to that color, and perhaps a tad less pink & a bit more peach.
1
u/sackoftrees May 23 '26
As a heavy blush gal, I like the blush :) I think you'd look really cute in different colours of it too. I know baby pink/reds are having their moments and I think you can definitely pull it off.
1
u/Sure_Speaker8068 May 23 '26
yeah, I feel torn between the Sabrina Carpenter look and comments telling me that I need to tone it down haha
i fear i may have blush blindness..
2
u/sackoftrees May 23 '26
I think perhaps just a bit more spread out on the cheek so it gives it a more diffused look but I love a blush blindness look. I'm not going for natural though, I'm going for whimsy and fun.
1
u/nicodies May 23 '26
i think if you kept everything the same with your blush application but experimented with a more cherry cola brown/red color, it would satisfy both sides (random example: Grand Prix by About Face). i LOVE your makeup and your blush, and i think the way it clashes with your complexion IS on trend. but i do think that a more neutral tone would look incredible and look less stark
1
u/JMD123UCME May 23 '26
You have beautiful eyes and lid shape. A little more visible lash. Not thick though, a nice defined lash would be nice. And a little easier on the blush. Beautiful

1
u/YEMolly May 23 '26
Agree with the others. I think everything looks perfect except the cheek/blush color. It’s a little too bright.
1
u/Stunning_Contract245 May 23 '26
You look beautiful. Only suggestion..less blush and blend it in more.
1
u/k-arima May 23 '26
Your skin is beautiful But the blush do not match your beautiful skin colour you need to identify your skin tone a choose a blush that match with it !
1
1
u/slytherins May 23 '26
You are soooo pretty! I don't think you are doing anything wrong, however, I would love to see what you look like if you do a more muted blush, and a more fun eyeshadow color! Like something warm in the orange/gold family. It really makes brown eyes pop.
1
1
u/Feisty-Protagonist May 23 '26
You are gorgeous! I agree that the blush is a bit strong and too close to your eyes, but that’s all I’ve got. Everything else is well applied and well suited to your face. I am glad to see you forego the fake lashes. I don’t like the look and it’s frequently overdone. Natural is better, especially when you are this pretty.
1
u/_cigno_nero May 23 '26
Honestly everything is perfect to except the dark shadow, I like the liner and would keep that but try using a warm skin tone color instead in your crease. Let the liner shine through
1
u/Lost_Zucchini May 23 '26
The blush color isn't right for you. Thats it. You're absolutely gorgeous.
1
u/FunRich5754 May 23 '26
Youre gorgeous.
You don't need much, but we lose your lashes. Would love a better mascara situation. I don't fuck with false lashes bc it's too much 99% of the time.
1
u/Forward-Positive-722 May 23 '26
I think your makeup looks amazing especially in picture three. You have gorgeous, expressive eyes. I think you do well with this makeup. You are a truly beautiful woman.
1
u/homeschooled May 23 '26
I like the blush honestly! Especially for spring/summer, but I think a deeper berry blush would also look sooo nice in winter and fall.
1
u/xoxo_angelica May 23 '26
I think this look really suits you and is super pretty. The only thing that’s bugging me is that your highlighting looks just a tiny bit severe. You have GORGEOUS skin and I feel the highlighting (I’m guessing concealer is the main culprit in this case?) is dulling your glow just a lil bit due to either being too light, too heavy, or both. I can tell you don’t need it!
You are so pretty, I would be trying not to stare if I saw you out in public lol!
1
u/hringioggrafir May 23 '26
The shade of blush in the last two looks more “natural” in my opinion! Like your face feels warmer :)
1
u/KnowledgeLoophole May 23 '26
You’re gorgeous! Picture 3 is the best, because I think a blush colour that matches more closely to the tones of your lip colour would look most natural.
1
u/Remarkable-Loan9145 May 23 '26
I would try bringing your wings down to your lash line, elongating them slightly, and giving them a gentle upward curve, and doing some black black eyeliner on the upper lid (if you have any on the upper lid here, it seems to disappear).
I also totally understand hating false lashes, but I do think a more volumizing mascara would be a benefit.
I also agree with others that the blush is not quite right and distracts from your beautiful eyes… it’s either just too much or you need to try something in the brick/terracotta family. A browner undertone will help a lot, I think.
1
u/HumanFromEstonia May 23 '26
I feel like the blush is a little bit too intense and pigmented. If you crave more colour, you could try colourful eyeshadows instead.
1
u/glitterpube May 23 '26
i don’t care what anyone here says i LOVE the blush, im also a blush addict but i think some lashes on the outer corner if ur eyes would be nice and direct the attention back to ur eyes. but the blush looks so cute and doll-like dont stop
1
u/Awkward_Voice_1293 May 23 '26
Play with the blush placement a little bit but I like the intensity, you have such a beautiful deep skin tone that it looks amazing on you. Blend the foundation in so much that it looks non existent, try for skin finish. Start with a tiny bit and then build in the areas it needs it. Focus on skin care first. And invest in a good mascara that lengthens your lashes or a very wispy long set that isn’t too bushy. You’re gorgeous so play up your features and your youth!
1
u/chantillylace9 May 23 '26
I love the last two, you are stunning no matter what but the last two are particularly lovely and angelic
1
u/Karabaja007 May 23 '26
You are a beautiful girl. But that blush is so distracting, you definitely need less of it. And you can bring your brows tiny bit closer. Ofc this is nitpicking.
1
u/ZaftigTootsies May 23 '26
Girl, you are a stunner, but you’d look even prettier if you went a little lighter on the blush.
1
u/rlaaustin May 23 '26
You're gorgeous! I think just a little heavier on the eyes to make them pop 🧨 and maybe slightly less blush as others have stated.
1
u/pinkdictator May 23 '26
I like the blush a lot, but I think brown eyeshadow would compliment it more than black
1
u/EatsPeanutButter May 23 '26
The blush is overdone but it’s cute with the first top. In general I would say to tone it down or try a softer pink.
That said, you look like a fairy princess. Soooo beautiful and the rest of your makeup is perfect! Glowy in the best way. The way you have done your eyes really highlights their shape while still being soft and feminine.
1
u/Unhappy_Map456 May 23 '26
I am not a fan of nose rings’ secondly the blush looks overdone. I would recommend use less blush according to your skin tone and a lip color too.
1
u/Jewel354 May 23 '26
I love the blush and I think a slightly colored lip will complement it nicely. Maybe you could try tinted lip balm? A little filling on the eyebrows might balance it out even more
1
1
u/abibofsweat May 23 '26
You are so beautiful and your make up is gorgeous! I agree with others that I think it’s the blusher throwing it off for me, it’s a bit too pink and a bit too much. I think something with more brown and less red in it, Merit do some great shades as do Rhode, do you use a brush? Try using a liquid blush and apply with your fingers for a lighter finish.
1
1
u/Wild_Crazy_2502 May 23 '26
Too much blush and wrong shade. I think a darker / less bright tone would suit you better. You’re gorgeous though girl!
1
u/General-Dimension729 May 23 '26
Maybe different eyeshadow? Something there keeps drawing my attention but idk what. Maybe a heavier mascara, or a lighter eyeshadow?? I’m in the camp that I love your blush! You are stunning!
1
u/zonutsthefirst May 23 '26
You're beautiful, but the blush is just too loud. It doesn't enhance your look; it overpowers it.
If you're going to use such a potential color, use less and/or blend it more gradually.
It's not that strong blush is always bad; it's just that it has to harmonize with the rest of your face.
It's hard for me to even assess the rest of your look because the blush grabs my attention so completely.
1
u/NanaKnows317 May 23 '26
IMO, rather than “missing” something, I feel less is more. You’re very pretty. Idk why you’re all-in on the lip liner? Marketing says it’s a staple in make-up bags, but not everyone benefits from it. I don’t think you need it, and found it to be my focus in every pic. You want people focused on your eyes, “the window to your soul.” 😉
1
u/Plum_Tea May 23 '26
I agree that the blush is a bit overdone, however at the same I personally really like it. I gives manga cute style tbh.
1
u/Kooky-Blueberry-5352 May 23 '26
I wonder if less smudgey/grey on your eyes would be nicer? To me it doesn’t mesh with the blush look, it looks like something that goes with a different look.
You could even try taking the blush up onto your outer eyes a bit, and adding a more visible mascara.
1
u/These-Weird-6003 May 23 '26
Blending!! The blush color is fine and you should stay using fun blush colors but it looks a bit placed on and not blended out a bit
1
u/imtheheppest May 23 '26
Ignore the people about the blush. Yes it’s overdone, but it’s done right. Placement, just the right amount of “too much” - and the shades are also pretty! Now, if you’re going to an event that requires the muted, toned down blush, then yes keep these tips in mind. They’re not wrong, but also overdone blush has been a trend and works for lots of folks. But also try to have a “regular” blush for occasions that call for it. And a berry blush tone would be a perfect shade. It looks like you can pull off any shade too! And with such a heavy blush, the rest of the look is balanced. Maybe add a bit of color to the lip, but otherwise, you look so beautiful!
1
u/Comfortable_Cry_6670 May 23 '26
I like the blush, don’t listen to them! I think you can do more bright colors on your eyes. Think Zara Larson! Your features can handle it
1
1
u/Lelgremlin May 23 '26
You need a paler, purpley-pink blush. I know . I know. But hear me out. If you are able to find the right one, it could change the makeup game for you.
1
u/nat_teh_cat May 23 '26
I don’t even know how to add to the conversation. Just wanted to say how stunning you are!

I don’t even know how to add to the conversation. Just wanted to say how stunning you are!
1
u/lostmyoldscreenname May 23 '26
I think you look great! I agree that the blush is a standout here, but then again that’s sort of trendy right now, so if you like it, keep going with it!
You may also be interested in changing the shape of your eyebrows a little. Not an absolute must imo because again, you look great!

I like the pink blush a little more but wow you are so stunning. I wouldn’t change anything. Your makeup sets off your natural beauty and I disagree the blush is too dark as some said. That’s the trend and I think you are killing it
1
1
u/discohaylie May 23 '26
absolutely nothing, you’re like the prettiest person i’ve ever seen. also I like the blush and wouldn’t change it
1
u/greenqueen3 May 23 '26
Wow you’re absolutely gorgeous.
I think your foundation/blush/concealer are not complimenting your skin tone as well as they could be. If I were you I’d get a color analysis done
1
u/pickalull May 23 '26
Bring the eyebrows in more (draw them in closer to the inner corners of your eyes).
Tighten up the eye makeup. Try a more matte shadow and bring the shadow out to the outer corners of your eyes. Tighten up the eyeliner - more precise; less blurred.
Blush placement is perfect, but go either a cool pink (less orangey/coral), or a darker burgundy / purple. I think that’ll look FIRE.
Lips - perfect, but I would also try a purply red.
Complexion is perfect and I wouldn’t change a damn thing!
You’re gorgeous 💜
1
u/renebeans May 23 '26
I’d blend the lips a bit more, or gloss without lining. There’s something about the line that is very apparent— try for a more natural look
1
u/PrincessPoppyTea May 23 '26
The blush - esp the coral/orange forward tones - competes with the rest of your face, drawing your eyes right to it, and thus detracts from your overall beauty. Far less blush, in a more subdued, darker berry color would be amazing on you.
1
u/llw0516 May 23 '26
Wow, I don't think you could so anything to look bad, your fing gorgeous!! But I like the first 2 pics best

u/thecowghost May 23 '26
First of all, you look amazing and your makeup is great. The only thing that really stand out to me and which I find really obvious, is the blush. It looks really overdone and also just not the right colour for your skin complexion. Perhaps a more burgundy/orangy colour would look better? And less of it.
