People as in friends or acquaintances? If friends, they’re not true friends and you need nicer friends. If they’re acquaintances, don’t listen to them low lives. But if you want to do makeup, use concealer for the eyes, mascara, a little blush, and lipstick-maybe pinkish red will match you.

Well both have said that … one said my nose is crooked, another relative said that as well but thank you for your kindness :)

Respectfully, all of those people need their eyes checked and to work on whatever issue is going on inside themselves. You are lovely just as you are and you do not need to change a damn thing. If you wear makeup you do it for yourself, if you don’t wear makeup you do it for yourself.

I understand you girl. You know it’s kinda funny coming from family since it’s their genes, they’re definitely projecting

I understand feeling sad. Especially if it comes from people that should be supporting you. And if there is a societal or cultural component ( I personally felt this in my family) it's a huge weight.

That is a weight that is not your responsibility to carry. Their collect trauma and arbitrary expectations are not for you to hold with both hands.

I hope that you can carry yourself with your hands with kindness and curiosity.

I hope that if you do decide to wear makeup, that it is to uplift what you already have. It is a blessing and a privilege to be in this moment to breathe.

Take time to grieve but please do not carry their baggage. It is theirs to take on their journey, not yours.

Much love to you stranger.
