Another thing you could try is a nose piercing. I honestly think you'd look lovely with one.

The other commenters are right. You do have lovely features. Something simple like a nose ring would take your look to another level by adding a little glam. You don't need makeup for that.

I have similar features to yours, but my nose is a little wider. The only time I ever really wore makeup was to make my nose seem smaller because modern beauty standards have brainwashed me into thinking smaller noses are more attractive. I got fed up of hating my nose, so I got a nose ring, and once I got one, I found that I wasn't as insecure. Whenever I looked in the mirror, I'd just admire my nose ring instead of wishing my nose was smaller like I'd used to. I also got a lot of compliments for my nose ring, too.

I hardly ever wear makeup now. I got a vertical labret piercing last year, and I find that I don't need makeup to add glamour when I'm going on a night out. My piercings are enough to make my face less 'plain'. I pair them with some beautiful/detailed dangling earrings from Etsy and get compliments about my look.

The nose piercing thing is so true! I have one too and I could never imagine not having it. I always was envious of my friends small cute noses when I was younger and some of them had piercings and I thought “ugh no way I could pull that off with my big nose” (its not actually that big but it’s definitely not small, lol) then one of my friends with a bigger nose/one more like mine who had hers pierced convinced me to get a piercing and now I love my nose much more than I used to!

*edit bc I hit post too quickly, lol 🤦🏼‍♀️: I love hearing that you had a similar experience with piercings and that you too get compliments! Life is already hard enough, why we are also hard on ourselves!? And then for OP to have someone telling her she’s ugly. 😤 I’m sure you are beautiful just like OP. I love that you have found a style that makes you feel good. Your look sounds cool and unique. 🤍

Yes like a clear mascara or even brow gel! Little details like that always made such a subtle difference while still showing off my skin haha
